  1. I agree we can't be hysterical about his appointment, one man in front of me in BBE on Sat started screaming "Ismael out" when second Cardiff goal went in... But I was very underwhelmed by the fact that not once in the last few weeks has he ever mentioned the words "playoff" or "promotion", given that he inherited a team that was in 5th with a mouthwatering run of fixtures giving the opportunity cement that. Then after defeats at Derby and Stoke, two of this season's actual donkey teams, he started talking about the summer and preparing for next season. A complete lack of interest and ambition. Alarming for me.
  2. Fair enough, it must be me that's out of touch coz these guys are really popular. That Mark Goldbridge got so popular he got his own show on TalkSport eventually. He was a copper from Nottingham who supported Forest. He one day changed his name and started supporting Man United, filming himself in his bedroom screaming at matches and now he's successful. Bizarre.
  3. Re this Roverseas fella, It's a free country and it's not harming anyone, but I don't see the appeal of watching someone else watch a football match in their bedroom or whatever. At least with TV and Radio they are professional broadcasters who pay experts to give views and usually have access to managers and players to interview post-match. I find it very odd that so many people these days watch these influencers watch the game and often just watch it to see them get mad and scream. Bizarre world.
  4. I meant a WhatsApp channel rather than a group, I think a large group chat would be too chaotic and cumbersome. WhatsApp channels are things you can subscribe to that just send you updates via notifications, you can't reply to them. Pretty handy.
  5. Glad someone has shared this or otherwise I wouldn't know. I got rid of Facebook and Twitter a few months back for different reasons. WATR would do well to send emails about this stuff and not just rely on people who have paid to be involved seeing tweets about it. Or maybe find a way to send notifications via WhatsApp like Rovers are able to do.
  6. Please don't watch the game back don't do it to yourself, watch some paint dry or walk barefoot on some Lego instead
  7. We probably won't win another game until Sheffield United away to send 'that lot' up automatically
  8. I also recently joined the Trust (when Eustace walked and the statement was put out). I also haven't had any correspondence/updates as yet. I agree with above poster - While it might seem cynical to do so, they need to be tapping into the anger of the fanbase at the moment due to the on-pitch stuff, 'coz we know the bigger picture is the off-pitch stuff. There needs to be some updates, meetings, plans of action and also some engagement fans to try and recruit more members.
  9. Sadly I think we will be 13th by the time that happens
  10. I hope so, I hope someone has given him a few home truths such as "what actually qualifies you to be a major stakeholder in the running of a football club, other than having played for them briefly?"
  11. I think we'll win this one 3-0. We've absolutely tanked the season in the last four games with four awful performances, making sure we can't get into the playoffs. Now that there's no pressure, we'll probably put in a performance from nowhere. Disgruntlement in the stands will subside for a few days and the club will churn out tons of stuff on social media to smooth over VI's start of 1 win in 4 and then we'll throw in another horror show the game after. Would be typical. Can't wait!
  12. Has anyone seen or heard Ismael's post match? Able to share a link or just the gist of it? Just got home from Stoke so haven't heard it myself
  13. In the grand scheme of things, we didn't trouble them, he made a great stop at the end, but he and the other 10 Stoke players watched us pass it round the back and sideways for most of the 99 minutes. He won't have even needed a shower at full-time, none of their defenders will have.
  14. Season definitely over now. Last 20 games have been relegation form. It's a good job we have 50+ points. Ismael might not last the season if this continues. Absolutely vile last two matches against relegation donkey teams who we barely troubled

  16. Not sure mate it's in the other side from me. Probably fire certificate and all that, but didn't see other flags removed....
  17. Stoke stewards have just been and removed those anti-venky banners, wonder who tipped them off. Oh and it's 1-0 to the Potters

  19. Spotted in the away end tonight, not seen the Suhail one before 👍
  20. Thought you meant the Gallagher Premiership at first but he would be constantly knocking it on with his flappin'
  21. In fairness to Gally I'm surprised he isn't starting. Scored 2 at the weekend and would surely fancy his chances against our current defence. Harsh he isn't playing, hope he doesn't come on later and prove another point to everyone in the ground.
  22. Main surprise is Forshaw getting nod ahead of Tronstad, is Sondre unfit again? Or does VI think that Forshaw offers more in attack?
  23. Just listened to this on my drive down to Stoke, good episode ⬜🟦🌹
  24. Sanderson has me really worried at centre half, I bet we end up signing him 😂 Other than a few agricultural challenges he has put in which get a cheer from the fans, he looks out of his depth. I get that he was supposed to be substitute/cover but now he's the first choice due to injury and we look very exposed. Other teams will be identifying him and putting him under pressure at every opportunity. Hope he can dig out a performance tonight.
