I moved to Belfast and started a family, my kids are Rovers fans, especially my boy. I just feel so gutted that we won’t be able to enjoy a team with any kind of success or excitement probably for another 20 years or more. depressing.

Dirk said he’s been messaged of somebody connected to the club (wouldn’t disclose who) and that the rumour is that certain players haven’t been paid. People are claiming on FB that rumours were widespread around the club yesterday.

The rumours I’m seeing on FB are that one of our players has told his mother that certain players didn’t get paid this month and it’s got out from there. I stress, total hearsay so I’m fishing for any further information on here.

Can anybody share any inside knowledge on the rumours that the players haven’t been paid this month? Just been mentioned on Blackburn Roverseas podcast that there are murmuring of this coming out of the club.

I think I’m at the point of giving up with our fans base. I made a post earlier in the Facebook group questioning why would we be low balling potential managers with salary offers well below the league average when we got Eustace’s salary offers the books as well as £750k compensation. What may come as a shock to nobody, I was accused of thinking I’m a finance expert and think I know better than everybody else for having the audacity to openly question our current spend (or lack thereof) and minuscule budgeting strategy of the back of huge player windfalls. This season might be it for me, if we don’t go up this season (very unlikely), we’re heading straight off the edge of a cliff next season. We’re going to be replacing half the squad with cheap shite. The end is coming and a great deal of our fan base deserve it. Stockholm Syndrome doesn’t even begin to describe these people.

A promotion with another “significant investment” level transfer window, (that would pretty much guarantee subsequent relegation), would probably give them all of their money back.

Nothing at all, which is why I haven’t mentioned that I think that. I do think there is credibility in the theory that they don’t want to tell so that nobody can see what skeletons are in the closet from the early years, I assume due diligence would throw up some surprises with any prospective new owner.

What is the theory that they don’t want us to be promoted? As in, what would be their motivation for not being promoted?

If Boa Morte or Boateng get the job, the season is going to go up in a giant fireball of fan rage and anger.

If John Eustace is pictured at the Derby game tonight when he is still technically the manager of Blackburn Rovers Football Club who are preparing for an important game tomorrow, then for me that is breaking new ground in terms of disrespect. As much as I am apoplectically angry at our sorry excuse of a regime and they must all leave the club, I’m actually starting to think John Eustace has been extremely disrespectful to our club by courting other jobs. Not to mention disingenuous to the fans.

These people are posing as intelligent and articulate ‘thinker’. For that reason, I honestly see no way back for the club. Stockholm Syndrome has set in like stone for so many, they now can’t see the wood for the trees. Waggott needs to get on that phone to India and tell them to offer somebody like cooper a 6 month contract with a very handsome bonus if he pulls off the unthinkable. We cannot waste yet another opportunity and just employ some plodder. We are absolutely knackered next season anyway with our contract and “owner” situation.
