He came to a bigger club and that’s a fact - both then and now.
-
If it was to a big Championship club under his idol I think he would. Another step closer to a big job.
-
With the absolute crap we’re being linked with, I would genuinely take Mark Hughes with Robbie Savage assistant manager. Hughes, instantly commands respect from both players and fans. Savage can have a more modern input in his ears and lastly there would surely be a sizeable amount of fans that would come back and aid the new manager bounce.

He’s just said Coleman is the preferred option, so at least now we know that’s not a joke.
-
Lancashire Telegrah saying it really is likely to be Coleman. When do the fans go nuclear exactly? Do we just not have a red line in this fan base anymore?

Does anyone know if the rumours about Nigel Adkins are true? Supposedly a done deal. -

People saying nobody would keep this team up, Tony Mowbray is out of work and if they had an ounce of ambition to stay in this division they would bring him in immediately. The damage Gestede and Pasha have done is enormous but Mowbray would definitely make a better fist of it than this moron currently managing the team. -

It’s a must win now, even if we were playing Barca it would be must win - that’s the position we’ve got ourselves in. 3-0 loss. -

Valérien Ismaël: Former Head Coach

This is an important point. Clearly he will never get a job at any football club ever again, I assume that even he himself realises this once his 2 brain cells get fired up. This means he will cling on and cling on for as long as he can, the effect that has on our club will be totally irrelevant to that waste of space. -

What is one game actually going to achieve? It’s got to be ALL home games to get any traction. -

This team will not win a single game again this season under that clown. Rudy Gestede will not get another job in football thankfully, first job on his CV and he’s taken the club from 7th to League 1 instantly. -

Talk about apathy, I just check scorelines every now and then and laugh now. It’s worse than the Coyle season. -

In what way has it moved on? You’re telling me Warnock couldn’t tighten this team up and motivate them better than this fool? Come on, you know he would. -

Name a better option. He’s certainly got more chance of saving us that this plonker. -

Boycott Or Not?
Tugayslongwalkoff replied to BRFCS.com's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Possibly. People ask why they’re still here, it has to be one of two things in my opinion. A - They are happy to leave us in limbo in the hope we will have a miraculous season whereby we are promoted on peanuts - waiting for the day somebody informs them that has happened and they can return to the stage as conquering heroes. B - They’re scared of what shady business dealings will be uncovered from their tenure during any potential takeover. -

The only thing I see making them leave is either old age or their chicken choking empire disintegrating. -
The January 2026 Transfer Window
Tugayslongwalkoff replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Can anyone confirm that after bringing in circa £40m in transfer fees for Adam, Sammie etc that we are now in a different FFP cycle and all that money now means fuck all in terms of being able to make some significant investment for once?
