  1. I'm fifty three and my dad started talking me in the early seventies. One there was a massive ruck on the Bolton road with Sunderland  fans. My dead had to stick me over a garden wall out of harm's way (I was still only little) before he smacked a few of them so we could both make a dash for it.

We're moved away from lancs in the seventies too. Rovers is my link to where I'm from. It's actually part of my identity. I don't get to see many games. But they're always the first result I look for.

Genius are slowly killing the club and their reasons for obstinately refusing sell, I can only guess at.

Someone said earlier, the fans are exhausted. I'll bloody bet they are. We're fighting reality on a weekly basis because we all went these shite hawk arseholes to get the hell out of our club, but they just refuse, against all sense. Of course that is going to be exhausting over a timeline such as we've seen. In fact, you could end up really making yourself unwell like this.

I've just had to stop caring because it's just so toxic.

Our pitch need improvement now. Cant keep having games called off. Its not good enough. We cant let this happen again. We are Blackburn Rovers

I might be wrong but I think it takes time to bed a pitch in. Trying to upgrade the pitch now might actually make things worse. Even trying to stick a sticking plaster on it might not make any difference.

I'm certainly no expert on grass though. But yeah, I won't be missing my lawn for another oooh three months.

This is a new low lads. If we cancel a few more games over the winter then I would fully expect some sort of points deduction, I mean there would have to be wouldn't there? There's timings about being unable to fulfil fixtures because of admin. So you would expect some sort of provision for being unable to fulfil fixtures because of inadequate facilities.

It's diabolical and deeply saddening that we've come to this, but not in any way surprising. But this isn't even our low point, not but a long way I don't think. It's surely going to keep getting worse

  3. I've been on holiday lads. Not seen any of the games (no point spoiling a perfectly good holiday is there?)

How TF of were this bad food we manage to win three previous two games? I can't understand how one week we're beating Bristol city away and then the next were nailed on for relegation. Anyone?

Happy 150th birthday lads. Doubt I'll be here for the 200th, but don't worry there's always the 175th?

I think personally the first X isnt too bad across defence and midfield. The issue is the strikers who get so little change out of a centre back, missing easy chances week after week, and we have nothing to bring on from the bench.

My recipe for survival would be

    1) sack ismael and get a manager who does not give away soft goals

    2) sign a striker in January with a championship scoring record

    3) sign a few experienced mids and defenders who you can bring on to close out games.

Still given the complete rotten setup behind the scenes I think it will be a very tough job to stop the heads going down.

That's the agenda of someone who cares.

That's is not venkys approach. Because if it was, we wouldn't be in this fucking mess in the first place. People who are more interested in having a jolly down Harrods on the company credit card than how the actual team is doing on the pitch.

So I would assume that Ismael will last at least until January, after we've sold any remaining decent players. And they'll appoint Christ knows who, but at that point it really won't matter, well be right up the shit.

And none of us should be in the least not surprised. Because if they were going to do the right thing, they would've done it ten years or more ago

Fucking useless. Absolutely fucking useless from top to fucking bottom.

I'm so, so fucking angry with Venkys, Suhail, Gestede... the lot of them.

Others have put it far better but this club is sunk.

I can't get angry anymore. I have to think of my health.

I'm not sure there's anything anyone can do. And yeah, I don't think this season will be our last relegation.

On the plus side, were won't be getting beat by Burnley for a while

I know it's a small thing and ultimately unimportant but I'm absolutely appalled by the standards on display here.

These fuckers have so much to answer for.

    Details matter.

Does anyone at the club even care any more. We're doing a slow death. Someone's in convinced venkys won't go until the club is out of existence

I could not agree more, we had not a pot to piss in, but we had a far superior team, to what we have now....

Just maybe our  scouting system and manager  had more idea than the  ones  employed since 2010 ?

Data running rules over footballing ability today...

I just want Venkys, end of!

I long for the days of Garner, Sellars, Hendry, Moran, Gayle etc etc

We had far better footballers in those days.. Than this shower of shit we have today and the alleged legend Gestede would not get in the team..

    A poor mans Jimmy Quinn!

I forgot about Simon Barker and Alan Ainscow was three times the player Forshaw is!

    Venkys Out!

Those were great days. And I really do miss them. What we have now is a fucking insult. Andy Kennedy. Steve archibald. Ossie. Chrissy price. Try gennoe in goal.

Marvelous days. Some really great players. And a much better support to the club

  8. It's never heard of a loans manager before. And my first thought was that it was a completely made-up role and completely pointless. Admittedly we're have our struggles inputting passwords or whatever in order to register player transfers. But a specific person who actually does the paperwork for all of our loans? How many players do we loan or and how many in per season? Averaged over nine months, about one, maybe one and a half, per month. What else is he going to be doing or is it just that?

We can afford someone to just look after loans but we can't afford a club shop in town or a matchday program.

Bring back the late eighties, I was happier then

  9. I don't really know what else to say other than what a bunch of dung-eating fucking wanker arsehole thick bastard classless sociopathic period stain twats.

I hope the brakes fail on their wanky limos and they go over a cliff and die a fiery death full of agony.

Other than that I'm strictly on the fence

Why does anybody have to get angry? I'm certainly not. The defeats hurt, but I can accept that the club is in a transitional state. It certainly sounds like the Travis situation was dropped on us very quickly, and these players will need time to gel. Surely that's not an unreasonable point of view.

I think getting angry is only ok if it acts as a catalyst for positive action. I think what the past fifteen years has shown is that it doesn't matter what the fans do, these wankers in India won't do anything. So yeah, I don't think in this case getting angry will do any good, you'd end up having a stroke.

I'm past the abbey stage. Well past that. I'm in the resignation stage (= confirmed despair). I'm starting to see the benefit in getting relegated in that we won't get gubbed by Burnley next year. I've long done given up any aspirations the club, other than the forgotten hope that that fat bastard and his shit eating brethren will have a TIA one morning and decide to sell the club. Or perhaps the whole family will get wiped out in a geophysical event. One lives in hope

  11. Jeez, they're nicking old aged pensioners these days for protesting against what's happening in Palestine. That tells me two things, one-age is no barrier to protest if you feel strongly enough; two - protest is clamped down on hard these days. You can get nicked for causing too much noise at a protest march. You can go down for fourteen years for saying that Palestine action have a point. We're not far off of living in a police state.

So someone telling me to get on the pitch and risk a criminal record, when they won't do the same because they've already done it fifty years ago when things were a lot more lax, I'm sorry, but no.

Quite apart from the fact that the owners still wouldn't give a fuck. You could burn the ground down, they still wouldn't sell up.

I don't know what the answer is really

  12. Haven't seen anything of today's game and must admit these days of one of the first eleven kicked me in the bollocks I wouldn't know who they were. Although I'd never suspect a rovers player of being so on target.

Anyway. Haven't all of our seasons followed the same pattern. Initial struggle, then put together an amazing sequence of wine, to the table, fall away gradually then either stage a recovery and push for sixth and not quite make it or end up lower mid table ISH?

It's this season going to be more of the same? Seems not?
