"what do they get out of this?".

They get something out of it or they wouldn't still be here !

Schadenfreude at the plight of the snowball-throwing fans?

    Burying the dirty cash bodies?

Blackburn who? Ie can't remember owning a club

Plain fucking stupidity, inner because they don't know what to do next, who to trust.

If we're really faced with a slow death, then what is the point any more?

It might not even be slow. Back to back relegations and we're completely done for

Final nail in the coffin this. If we can’t even beat a poor team like Wednesday. Two goals before half time is laughable.

Ismael needs to go he can’t be in charge next season unless they genuinely want to kill the club. You can’t keep your job when it’s this bad.

We’ve had a good track record recently hiring managers with Mowbray, JDT and Eustace. But this latest appointment wasn’t it and they messed up badly. Own up to it and make the change now. The longer they drag this out the worse it will get for everyone.

Don't think there's any chance are still off that. They're on a bonus for keeping costs down. They signed him on a long term deal

I think as I said before that it's nearing a very messy end to the venkys regime. They've finally run out of luck with the way they've been running us and next season we shall be going down hard

Christ it's worse than I thought.  We've got the Brockhall Mukhabarat.

It's like something out the USSR.  Secret shadow men, competing levels of reporting up the chain on one another.  Historically, all of that came with skimming off the top and a fire sale to finish.

What did Santayana say about history?

Only the dead have seen the end of venkys

I am going to throw my mortgage on us going down whilst the odds will still be slightly favourable. There is zero chance we stay up next season. Zero.

    Can't see the manager resigning

Long contract, he'll want paying up.

Can't see us sacking him because we can't afford to.

If he's still here November time, we're toast. I said December before, but I'm rapidly revising my prediction. I think November is being generous though. October more realistic

And the Cherry on today's Shit Cake?..

The bellends at the cobbled end of the M65 now have a real chance of automatic promotion.

    Enjoy your Weekend.

Since venkys took over, We've not beaten them once. We play them next month, might be the last time for a long time

The club requires a guy who can grow the team on no budget, grow with the team and grow the club, that's their pitch to prespective employees.

I think now pressing than that, new owners are needed. 150th anniversary next year. Without new owners, the club won't be around to have a 175th I don't think

The players have lost the will for it imo.

The Eustace shambles, and the rest of the circus, has knocked the stuffing out of them.

And VI was never the person to lift them back up. An Allardyce/Dyche type might have.

That moment's been and gone, and after the last few seasons of setting up camp regularly in the Top 6, I genuinely fear we may never be there again for a long time.

Top 6 League 1 maybe the next target.

I'm a heavy mix of anger and apathy. Feels justified and warranted, rather than the usual emotional and reactionary.

Yeah, I'm exasperated and miserable. We've been shat on for well over a decade by owners who have no interest in us. I can't do this any more

Losing might actually be the better outcome today and I have a pathological hatred of losing. Promotion is vanishingly unlikely given how poor we are at moment. A grim procession of defeats to finish off the season will turn up the heat further. It finally feels like there is some momentum and it would be just our luck for an upturn in fortune on the pitch to dampen the fan’s ire.

As inimical as this may seem, I can certainly see the logic in this.

As it is, I see it's losing and Pompey scoring three and the clumsoid between the sticks helping at least one into his own net

    Dingles will beat Bristol.

Norwich and brom could go either way.

    Middlesborough to beat oxford.

We are still in it and as much as it looks completely dead and hopeless, we are just one of those teams that can pull a run of wins of nowhere, we are so unpredictable and I'm not confident but it's not over with this team..

It's dead and hopeless mate, stand on me brethren
