They'd paid it down though selling Bentley i think it was around 10 mill when the club was sold plus there was another 3 million loan from the Walker Trust.
Yeah, you may well be right there.
Certainly we seem to agree that the club was valued at £23m and not £43m as it says in article

Yeah, but why, Jesus Mary and Joseph, WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Christ on a Friday jumping a shark on a steampunk jetski shouting aii aiii yippee, why do they refuse to sell?

Btw, if the club was valued at £23m when we were in the prem, Jesus, What's the value now?
£1?

I thought it was 23 mill, 10 mill for immediate debt then 10 mill to be injected straight away to cover running costs ?
Not sure about that.
From what I remember under the trust, our o/d with Barclays was running at a steady twenty mill

From the athletic article
"The takeover initially cost Venky’s around £43million for the equity plus a further £20million paid to clear debts. Since then they have pumped in a total of around £200million, most of which they know they will never recoup."
I thought it was 43 total, twenty three for the equity?

Tronstad will not be fit, I am afraid.
Perhaps he's willing to select him even so. Controversial

We've won two out of seventeen is it. Winning is a habit, so is not winning.
The longer we wait for the next win, the more likely it is that we're going down. For some reason in thought we were away to Plymouth. But we're actually at home. If we can't beat Plymouth at home then I think we deserve everything coming our way

Will they remember to turn the air con on on the bus?

I think if we could avoid conceding in the first five minutes that would really help

He had an Italian sounding name I think - Lou Fuccillo or something like that. Jimmy Hill began his dislike of Rovers that day I think.
Lil.
You're maybe getting yourself mixed up with the geezer who played the hulk. Ferrero Rocher.

The hotel receptionist is back in goal.
He's been working really hard in training, and is now a beast master at picking the ball out of the net.

A fully fit Rovers squad should win this with a bit to spare.
Injuries make this very even on paper so this becomes a Eustace v Harris head to head. Which coach has the better tactical nous and motivation skills.
Eustace starts with a disadvantage with that accent which would deflate a helium balloon.
I'm not sure it matters if we play on grass paper or the lunar landscape. We are where we deserve to be in the table.
Hughesy had a framed copy of the old Walter wintle poem out up on the wall at Ewood. Sooner or later, the man who wins, is "the man who thinks he can". We're short of belief, and sad to say, balls. I think we'll ship in a late one and lose.

They’ve taken the present and quite possibly the future from us, don’t let them take our past as well.
Fair point.

"WE WONT GIVE UP".... Eustace front page of Telegraph.
We all feel assured and confident after that John lad 🙄
Yes, "we're a gashpit of thirteen years' worth of venky guano, and with the odd exception, there's rubber dinghy men on the pitch. We can't win for toffee, and we just keep getting worse.
But we won't give up"

Next manager will probably be Gordon Brittas. Got a solid CV at that sort of level

If we do go down, What's the odds on back to back relegations?
If we go down I think the very real risk is that we'll fall apart

And the worst thing is, the absolute worst bloody thing... I've seen the Tony Parkes video, it's a difficult watch. But that's someone who's given his life to rovers. Rovers, as his daughter says it's now the only thing keeping him going. But there's others there that need that connection with the club. And really, so many people, they love the rovers, it keeps them going.
And these bastard's are just running us into the ground

Yeah, I'm no Eustace fan especially, but the rot set in ages ago. Does anyone else feel like the club is on the verge of collapse? It's just got that feel to it.
The court case, the massive debt, the position in the table, the players being sold, the debt level. The lack of communication from the owners.
Well he lucky to avoid relegation this year. If we do, then I can't see us surviving next year unless there's big changes.
It just feels like the club is slowly dying

Jesus, should be looking up the table, top eight of form teams?! Shite slight, We've just lost (again) and we're a point off the drop.
I did say before, if we fall into the drop zone, we won't be able to get out. Well we're real close now.
Stoke apparently close to appointing pulis
Despair

Despair is the right word. Despair is anger with nowhere to go. Until there's a groundswell of support for taking action, then nothing will change. The n supporters have to be united. Unfortunately, and incredibly, there's are so fans who think venkys are a good thing.
It's either relegation or admin or the Indian court or fans disrupting games that's going to change it. Why they want to keep us is a mystery. A mate recently described them as useless fuckwits.
But yeah, I'm in despair with it all. The lowest I've ever been with rovers. The thought that they'll never go absolutely haunts me. It's like something out of Saw
