I think it's just Suhail that has put his foot down and Waggott was probably seeking final confirmation on the McGuire deal (as it required cash), that he didn't get or get in time. If they can't inject money from India then surely they'll have to sell...? Who wants to buy Rovers in its current state though?

Waggott has perhaps told sylvester to set r everything up in the a system, and then save it, and Waggott will press submit when he has the OK from India. E which never came. So he left it. And the appeal is just a face saving exercise.

If it is a family feud and the woman wants no more to do with rovers, then I would think she had felt that way for a while. Perhaps q we shouldn't rule out that she could just pull the plug on us and see us liquidated

  2. They didn't think to check that the league had received the docs until after the deadline? Even though they didn't get confirmation? Presumably all signings get confirmed by the league? And now they're appealing fir if to go through on the basis of pressing the wrong button, as if there's a hope in hell of winning it?

These guys just take the piss.

I think Waggott and Venkys can count themselves VERY lucky we didn’t concede a third vs QPR. I felt it was about to tip.

You ever seen Khartoum the movie? Wouldn't recommend Khartoum the tourist destination, but that's a whole other story.

Anyways, if gets to the business party of the movie and we'll not mention yer man olivier's dodgy blackface. So there's athletic Charlton at the top of the stairs, and he's cornered by the Mahdi's top lads all rolled up and quite honestly this is only going one way.

So yeah, that could be Waggott at this rate. Except his fat fucking swede would never fit inside the pickle jar.

Edit: and the rest of him might dam the Ribble. Here you go, Gordon's alive! But not for very long. "look, lads, let's be sensible here, we'll spend the Wharton dough in the sum..... AIIIIIIIIE!"

More like a cheese butty badly wrapped in cellophane, a jammy Wagon Wheel, and a small bottle of Panda pop on the go.

Just a cheese filling, with nothing else in there?

Good, that's just the bloody worst mate so dry. Can't believe they didn't put some pickle in to take the edge off.

And panda pops, that's the real cheap and nasty one isn't it? Ooooof.

Good post, as was your earlier excellent post introducing the term, Venkys cong.

Personally I've been in too long to give up, I'm too old to give up, time will do that anyway. I want to see the Raos out on their asses. It a reason to live.

I lost my eldest son 15 months ago to heart disease. I'd introduced him to Rovers at a young age and have the photos of him in the Rovers dressing room with Garner, Keeley, Barker etc, on the pitch with Bobby S.

He stayed a fan all his days and got to Wembley twice to see us win a cup and a playoff. Also to Wales to see us beat Spurs. I owe it to him to stick with us.

The vermin will be gone one day and I have family who I also introduced and still fans who will see that great day even if I don't.

I am still following my no swearing NY pledge. It's hard with these See You Next Tuesdays.

Well I don't know what to say mate, deepest sympathies.

The VC will be gone one day

Sorry to see you go. We all have our line in the sand and it differs for everyone. I may not be far behind you after 43 years. You can only take so much.

When the Raos have gone hopefully you will be back.

Well this is the issue isn't it.

43 years, if you walk away you feel like it's all been for nothing. It all comes down to whether you can accept occupation by the Venky cong. Accepting of course being a different concept to liking.

Not being able to accept it, and not being able to change it, of course your mental health is going to take a massive hit.

It's something I've struggled with myself. I can only hope this is the beginning of the end.

Absolutely no judgement of course on anyone who does walk away. Put your mental health first

  7. I feel the future of the club is in the hands of an Indian judge.

It's been said many, many tonnes on here, venkys have forgotten we exist etc. I don't that hard to believe given the court hearings and all the rest of it.

All we have is guesswork and hope. Have they sold Wharton in the expectation that the investigation will be over in the summer? Why do I get the feeling that the club is very close to going under?

Why are they even keeping us? It's it something to do with cooking the books? Surely they don't think they can make a success of the club? So what's the motivation? Petty mindedness because of a snowball?

What if the next hearing gets postponed? What if the investigation goes on for another five years? We don't have enough players to sell?

If the investigation ends will they still be under a cloud and unable to find signings because it might trigger another investigation?

Does it even matter what the judge decides at the next hearing, had too much damage already been done?

We're just being left on tenterhooks all the time. I'm exhausted with it

Very Interesting and the best insight I've seen into this situation.  Thank you.

So basically confirming the vast majority of the Wharton fee will just disappear in running costs.

Is this hope the investigation will be over at the end of the season well founded or not, or do we have no idea?

If the investigation is over in the summer, we'll never be free of these bastards
