  1. Those were great days. And I really do miss them. What we have now is a fucking insult. Andy Kennedy. Steve archibald. Ossie. Chrissy price. Try gennoe in goal. Marvelous days. Some really great players. And a much better support to the club
  2. It's never heard of a loans manager before. And my first thought was that it was a completely made-up role and completely pointless. Admittedly we're have our struggles inputting passwords or whatever in order to register player transfers. But a specific person who actually does the paperwork for all of our loans? How many players do we loan or and how many in per season? Averaged over nine months, about one, maybe one and a half, per month. What else is he going to be doing or is it just that? We can afford someone to just look after loans but we can't afford a club shop in town or a matchday program. Bring back the late eighties, I was happier then
  3. I don't really know what else to say other than what a bunch of dung-eating fucking wanker arsehole thick bastard classless sociopathic period stain twats. I hope the brakes fail on their wanky limos and they go over a cliff and die a fiery death full of agony. Other than that I'm strictly on the fence
  4. I think getting angry is only ok if it acts as a catalyst for positive action. I think what the past fifteen years has shown is that it doesn't matter what the fans do, these wankers in India won't do anything. So yeah, I don't think in this case getting angry will do any good, you'd end up having a stroke. I'm past the abbey stage. Well past that. I'm in the resignation stage (= confirmed despair). I'm starting to see the benefit in getting relegated in that we won't get gubbed by Burnley next year. I've long done given up any aspirations the club, other than the forgotten hope that that fat bastard and his shit eating brethren will have a TIA one morning and decide to sell the club. Or perhaps the whole family will get wiped out in a geophysical event. One lives in hope
  5. I'm the words of the late great Pete Shelley "I can't see much of a future". If we stay up this year it will be miraculous
  6. I think Colin first time round cost about 30 grand. Or it might have been 45, bit difficult remembering now.
  7. Jeez, they're nicking old aged pensioners these days for protesting against what's happening in Palestine. That tells me two things, one-age is no barrier to protest if you feel strongly enough; two - protest is clamped down on hard these days. You can get nicked for causing too much noise at a protest march. You can go down for fourteen years for saying that Palestine action have a point. We're not far off of living in a police state. So someone telling me to get on the pitch and risk a criminal record, when they won't do the same because they've already done it fifty years ago when things were a lot more lax, I'm sorry, but no. Quite apart from the fact that the owners still wouldn't give a fuck. You could burn the ground down, they still wouldn't sell up. I don't know what the answer is really
  8. Haven't seen anything of today's game and must admit these days of one of the first eleven kicked me in the bollocks I wouldn't know who they were. Although I'd never suspect a rovers player of being so on target. Anyway. Haven't all of our seasons followed the same pattern. Initial struggle, then put together an amazing sequence of wine, to the table, fall away gradually then either stage a recovery and push for sixth and not quite make it or end up lower mid table ISH? It's this season going to be more of the same? Seems not?
  9. Schadenfreude at the plight of the snowball-throwing fans? Burying the dirty cash bodies? Blackburn who? Ie can't remember owning a club Plain fucking stupidity, inner because they don't know what to do next, who to trust. If we're really faced with a slow death, then what is the point any more? It might not even be slow. Back to back relegations and we're completely done for
  10. So how does venkys reign end then? Or does it not end? They're gradually whittling away at the club, if that continues, and why wouldn't it, well be fourth tier or worse
  11. An out and out disgrace but entirely within character for this absolute shit bag two bit brainless untalented feckless piss pot amateurish nouveau richest ham-fisted uncaring unloved ownership We've laboured under for almost fifteen years. I wish a pox on them, their wives, their kids, I hope they shit pineapples every day for the rest of their no good oxygen draining lives. I hope their long dead ancestors return from their graves and shit in their dinner. How much longer must we endure this agony
  12. Bloody hell, he's got some sauce hadn't he. Him and his tombola of nonsense
  13. Don't think there's any chance are still off that. They're on a bonus for keeping costs down. They signed him on a long term deal I think as I said before that it's nearing a very messy end to the venkys regime. They've finally run out of luck with the way they've been running us and next season we shall be going down hard
  14. Are we nearing the point where the club will just implode?
  15. Only the dead have seen the end of venkys
  16. Can't see the manager resigning Long contract, he'll want paying up. Can't see us sacking him because we can't afford to. If he's still here November time, we're toast. I said December before, but I'm rapidly revising my prediction. I think November is being generous though. October more realistic
  17. More like one of them Messerschmitt bubble cars with no reverse gear and the door is on the front. And we've just pulled up in front of a wall
  18. Yeah I'm not interested in we're on a journey, jam tomorrow bullshit. I'm done waiting, they can just fuck off immediately for me, ta.
  19. Blimey that's a relief! 😮‍💨 😆
  20. Since venkys took over, We've not beaten them once. We play them next month, might be the last time for a long time
  21. Full disclosure time, Portsmouth is about an hour on the train from me. It's the closest championship ground to me I think. I didn't go because I knew it would be a shit show and I just can't support that
  22. I think now pressing than that, new owners are needed. 150th anniversary next year. Without new owners, the club won't be around to have a 175th I don't think
  23. Venkys make me go lalalala lalalalalaa
