  1. Happy and also surprised they've managed to sort a new manager so quickly, although maybe it's been going on for a while and they persuaded JDT to babysit till it was sealed? Or he found out they'd lined his replacement up and lost his shit....

Either way I'm happy with the appointment, we need a new manager bounce and we need to remember how to defend first and foremost.

  2. A decent bloke there's no doubting that, but there's absolutely no hiding from recent results. I went through various stages with JDT, some of his mind bogling decisions made me really question his sanity, notably round the time of a few Derby games. His memorable cup runs brought some great times though. He probably could have taken us further with the right backing, we'll never know.

I think a change was needed for both parties.

  3. Whilst I do sympathise with JDT I really do, he's escaped a lot of blame because of the circus around him. He still needs to set up a team to at the very minimum be able to defend, you work with the tools you've got - no disrespect meant there.....

It's also possible his agent his putting the feelers out for other jobs right now, if he has something to walk into, he may become a little less demanding with any severance pay. His stock in the UK probably isn't very high, but sure he'll have offers in Europe.

  4. To an outsider we probably just look like fairweather fans, turning their backs on the club in their hour of need. Which I guess is understandable if you're not fully up to speed with all that's gone on since the vermin took over. Some of the fans I've heard say enough is enough, I'm done the past few days is scary though, lads I never, ever thought would mutter those words, true die hards you could say.

Again it all boils down to the feeling of helplessness. Previous protests were absolutely futile, so people are left feeling like whatever happens at Ewood will go unnoticed. They clearly don't watch the games and I seriously doubt their minions would feed any sort of unrest back to them.

I guess the only other thing left is fans entering the pitch and disrupting games. Aside from what happened Vs Wigan years ago nothing like this has happened. Previously were fans worried about getting banned etc? I would imagine that worry no longer exists though, because quite frankly it would be doing them a favour.

  5. Sreenivasa Rao was brought in September last year to control the financial side of things. Rao is based out in India. Rao is what about 5 or 6 hours in front of the UK time. Rao would most certainly not give enough of a shit about Blackburn Rovers to sanction a deal at 4 in the morning.

So did Steve and Suhail take a punt and say everything was fine, to then get told get fucked then Rao woke up?

They're the ones who allegedly have the answers so it's time one of them spoke.

Anyone got a cosy meeting with Steve lined up in which they can ask him?

Suhails only here because of Venkys, he has never had nor will he get another job in football, with his skills shown, I'll be surprised if anyone outside of Venkys employee him.

Waggott is on his last pay day, so will cart on until he's booted.

Neither are going to give us answers.

I think you're missing the point.

Yes but why would Waggott or Suhail point the finger at Venkys specifically? They're the only two that wouldn't gain by doing that.

Steve gets a nice bonus for saving money, Suhail likely the same and all whilst portraying another paperwork fuck up.

They wouldn't point the finger, but they're the ones with the answers. If it was a bit of paperwork why wouldn't he mention Greg specifically who took the brunt of it last time?

As basically a one man midfield - I thought he did OK today. What is without doubt - Adam Wharton playing for us today - we wouldn't have lost.

Sorry what? He's been playing all season and the results have been horrendous with him in it.

  9. If say someone was to enter the pitch with a Venkys out banner, they'd be met by a chorus of boos more than any kind of agreement/support for it. You'd probably get a smattering of an FFP FFP chant as that's the stock answer on socials if you dare question the Venkys scum - "yOu ClEaRlY dOn'T uNdErStAnD fFp, We'D gO bUsT wItHoUt ThEm - ThEy WeRe JuSt BaDlY aDvIsEd"

Takes banging your head against a brick wall to new extremes it really does.

  10. I've been at work all day and haven't really got a clue what's going on. One of the weirdest things I've heard in a long time though this, it's brought every alleged ITK on twitter out from under their stone too.

Sounds like JDT has been muzzled, neither Greg or Swag would have the balls to do that. It's come from above, all I can think is some legal complexities to JDT blabbing about the financial shit show, interlinked to the constant Indian Court cases.

Hopefully someone gets a mic in front of him tomorrow and he sings like a canary. It'll cost him his job but fuck them.

It just all feels off, even for these lot…it wouldn’t surprise me if there were more cuts in the summer. More downgrading.

    I hope I’m wrong.

A failing business that's preparing for either a takeover or administration either stops spending completely or cuts right back to the bare minimum. We can only dream its the former. The 'plan' based on those transfers is clearly not one for the future, it's one that gets us through to May (with a bit of luck avoiding relegation).
