So Fleck who's getting on a bit to start with, he's played 89 minutes of football total all season. This is the same guy who collapsed on the pitch the other season too if people remember. Now he's expected to play the way JDT wants to? I bet the manager is delighted.

Who the fucks this Liverpool kid? Played about 15 games in total for 2 clubs no one's ever heard of.
Absolute barrel scraping.
We failed with Phillips so they palmed us of with some lesser known nobody to soften the blow.
Boring.
Predictable.
Depressing.

Imagine a potential deal to a club in disarray falling through, to your only other option being going to another with crackpot owners, the poor bastard.
Get home to the sunshine lad.

Not really the news I wanted to wake up to, although it's not even slightly surprising.
A lot of our fans were reluctantly 'accepting' the Wharton sale if it meant we spent even a bit of it. Of course we all had our doubts it would be.
IF that's true about us pulling the plug on McGuire whilst he was mid flight then its utterly disgusting on the back of the O'brien saga too, you'd be off your heads dealing with us after it, talk about career wreckers.
There's a massive game on Saturday which now looks like it'll be overshadowed by matters off the pitch. Not exactly ideal preparation is it, that's if JDT can even be bothered. I'd understand if his resignation of on Waggotts desk tomorrow.

Since he seems to be valued at 2.5 million, I think I know precisely why interest died off last window.
He was on the same shortlist as Hill, so yes it probably did come down to money....although Hill didn't turn out too bad, shame his stay was cut short.

We tried for him last window, not sure why interest died off though.

Ennis has been a shocking signing. There can’t have been many more ineffectual signings. Even Grabbi scored a few goals.
It wasn't through lack of effort that Grabbi flopped though.
Ennis on the other hand turned up out of shape, and has never really got up to speed. Annoying as there probably is some ability there if he wasn't such a lazy shite. It's mad when you compare the levels of fitness on show from Szmodics every week compared to him.

Has anyone got any confidence in Broughton to get any quality signings over the line?
With Travis and Wharton out the door surely we aren’t going to scrape through the season, that could be painful!
No.
He seems fairly savvy sorting contracts out, but we're yet to see much in the way of getting players over the line, especially when other clubs are interested. Wahlstedt being the obvious exception on that front.
I wonder if Adam is at Selhurst tonight watching on. That's not going to get finalised till tomorrow earliest now I presume, not much time left and past experience doesn't bode well....

with the wharton money id`e like us to go all for out for the aberdeen lad miovski, top player in a side that he`s far to good for,we`ll double our money as well,he`s definately going to play at a higher level than where we are
I agree, would be a good signing. Celtic allegedly interested in him too though, guessing he may end up there.

I've just worked 7 days in a row so it's my weekend now, on that basis I'm going tomorrow 🍻

We won’t let SG go unless we have a replacement.
Are you new to this circus? It's exactly the sort of thing we'd do under this regime.
Wharton will be sold at 10:30pm on deadline day too and we'll shrug our shoulders saying it was too late to spend that money. Then it'll disappear by summer.

Has anyone else heard the ticket office closes at 5pm Monday on police advice? Not seen it mentioned.....

At the same time I'm pretty sure GB is on record as saying JDT approves all signings. It's also clear he speaks to the potential signing before the transfer goes through.
True but if you're given the option of someone who might be rubbish, or nobody at all, you kind of have to take a punt.

Can't recall JB ever getting anything right with his 'exclusives' so I wouldn't hold your breath 🤷♂️

Some clubs doing some really good business this window, most notably Hull and Millwall. Meanwhile, we have signed two teenagers on loan and are looking in the bargain basement of the lower leagues of Europe.
We are on a very fast trajectory towards league one at the moment. Downgrading the squad every window now and the budget being cut at every turn. Sad times for this great club.
I remember the new Hull owner being introduced to their fans before we played them the other season. They've been on an upwards trajectory ever since.
Imagine, competent fucking owners.

Been like that for a while, surprised they don't scrub it off when people are on the ground tours. Thinking about it, that must probably be where we're supposed to draw the tactics for defending a corner, no wonder we're so fucking awful at it 🤣

That maybe so but him and Elliott Bennett got a good reception a few weeks ago !
Yeah quite surprising when most of our fan base got wound up by Mowbrays love for playing Benno 🤣

You would be very surprised who I know at Rovers.
So you going to name these staff members? are the Staff related to non football staff or staff who are involved in Football setup?
Doesn't he have 3 Rovers related stories today?
Involved on the football side as backroom staff, not people in the public eye, don't be ridiculous I'm not going to start posting names of people on here 🤣

There's still many fans who just come out with the "who would want to buy us?" line on repeat. These people have become brainwashed to think we NEED the twats in Pune.
Even Southend recently managed to find a buyer, they're making signings and renewing contracts etc now.

I don't remember our set pieces being anything other than terrible since Mulgrew left. Although he did spoil us.
Speaking of Mulgrew, he wants to get into management, surely he could do a job as a set piece coach?

I don't think he speaks very highly of the club, so I doubt it

exactly.
We are got most players on long term contracts which is big advantage for us.
Benson shouldn't be in charge of set pieces. His focus should be working with the keepers and helping them developed. He praised by Kaminski as been a good keeper coach.
Going to name who these staff members are?
Why? You won't know who they are?

Erm, it's probably something to do with having no money in the budget to employ someone else. It isn't just transfers where the taps are off. The whole set up at the club stinks of rank amateurism, neglect and a pure hit and hope attitude. Chancers. The lot of them, and what's worse, not even very plausible chancers.
Gallagher needs to go to another club whilst he still has a chance, because he doesn't stand a chance at Rovers.
Half of our backroom staff are actively looking for new jobs, it's no secret.
That won't include Benson or Lowe though, they'll be getting paid top whack for doing relatively little. Which is probably partly why the rest are looking to leave.

we`ll pick up enough points to stay up,rotherham and sheff wed are doomed and qpr don`t look much better off,i don`t see any of those three going on an extended winning streak
Qpr won 2-0 today, imagine that. 2 goals and a clean sheet. I'm sorry but if you think we're staying up you're very ambitious, I've not seen free fall like this in many, many years

not this year but no investment on the playing side for next season, definately
Why do people keep saying not this year? The defence is the worst in the league, we can't buy a win! What are people actually clinging to that makes them think we'll stay up? Grayed there is poor teams below us but they've beat us or took point off us!

Clearly looking at quantity over quality for the window.
Can't wait for Greg to say how delighted he is to get 7 (I think) 'bodies through the door' with that creepy smirk on his face 🤮
I think it sums up how far we've fallen when I'm looking on enviously on the transfer activity at Hull and Ipswich, possibly others but those 2 stand out.
