  1. Of course filling it with home fans is the ideal scenario, but, we ain't getting anything close to 23k home fans any time soon REGARDLESS. The only time that's even a possibility is if we ever got promoted now, the closest otherwise is lucrative Cup games. No way on this planet would we sell 23k home tickets vs Sheff Weds in current circumstances. Even Waggott himself would prefer to fill the ground with home fans, lower policing costs etc, him and the other cronies involved are too simple to think of anything remotely viable to help though with that.
  2. Look up the stats for % of the ground being filled, we're rock bottom. Most teams literally couldn't offer that many tickets for away fans, without not leaving enough for home fans.
  3. Don't think anyone, ITK or not knows that level of detail. I do know Palace were after him last year too and were told to do one, multiple times.
  4. I don't get the people bemoaning them getting a 7k allocation. Yes Waggott is a cock regardless but a full Darwen end hasn't done too much harm this season, Newcastle arguably our best home performance? A full Elland Road didn't seem to give them much of an edge at weekend either. Just seems like another reason to moan.
  5. I actually think we'll do OK, till about 70 mins then ship a few goals and lose, again. Any optimism from the Sunderland/Southampton games has completely gone now. I'm almost at the point where I think it might be better to get relegated, because next season, bearing in mind a number of this squad will be leaving, it would be an embarrassing season in the championship, far worse than this one. Thankfully going away for the weekend from today so won't let these clowns ruin another weekend, I'll check the scores when I get round to it.
  6. Absolutely, almost like a builder sorting the foundations, you cannot fault JE for the work he's done there, I dare say we'd have conceded 4 today under his predecessor. Wharton was barking orders and playing with absolute confidence, looks like his interview on JDT has some relevance. Brittain again looks so much better defensively.
  7. Enjoyed that, which is a bit weird for a 0-0. Exceptional workrate and some great defensive performances. Some of these players are improving every day defensively under Eustace. Southampton had an embarrassment of riches with all the players they kept plucking off the bench, Martin wants binning for struggling with that lot at his disposal. I don't think they'll go up in the play offs either. Bristol City are seemingly on the beach much like Sunderland, lots of dull games lately. Take it to them and get at least a point. I don't think we have enough to get anything at Leeds but nothing to worry about against Sheff Weds.
  8. They surely must have given up on automatics now, even if they win their games in hand it's a bridge too far. It'll be interesting to see how they react to Monday, on paper we're probably their easiest remaining game aside from maybe Stoke at home. Unless of course we make a habit of playing like WE did on Monday too. I think most of us were expecting a pumping before Monday, at least there's some hope now. Southampton games usually guarantee goals so it should be entertaining either way. Plymouth go to Rotherham on Friday night so will be hoping for some kind of reaction after potting Foster. QPR will want to finish Sheff Weds off and put themselves safe. Millwall and Huddersfield should be a slug fest. No doubting how huge a win could be.
  9. You'd have to be a bit simple to not realise Eustace has made improvements on the defensive side of things. What he's struggled to do is get the balance right in terms of attacking. Today he got it spectacularly right. A few returning players were crucial to this as well.
  10. He's one of those players who just goes about his business kind of under the radar, but when he's not playing you damn well know about it, he's absolutely crucial, big fan.
  11. Massively unexpected but that was superb, they were playing with such confidence you wouldn't believe we're struggling at the foot of the table. Sunderland were absolutely dreadful mind, if any of of relegation rivals have them to play I'm pretty sure they'll beat them too! Just had a gander and only Millwall have them, and sheff weds last game but I imagine they'll be down by then. Dolan has impressed in his last 2 games, long may that continue. I can't see us getting much from the next 3 games, which makes the 3 points even more crucial today. Still lots of work to do.
  12. Still feeling worried despite Sunderland being dreadful that first half, maybe partly because they surely can't be that poor again after getting booed off. That said, I didn't expect to be 2 up at half time, in fact I didn't expect us to score 2 goals all game. Bit worrying seeing how strapped up Sammy is, although it's obviously not affected him too much!
  13. On paper it's all set for an absolute stinker of a game. Given the apparent unpredictability of football at the moment there's always chance of a 3-3 draw though 🙄 A draw is the best we can hope for I suppose as we quietly slide out of the league.
  14. We've heard quite frequently from Eustace that he's had no time on the training pitch with the players, that excuse is out the window now and we must see the results of the time he HAS had. Brum had plenty of success with set pieces, I'd like to think we see some improvements in this area. When you're not exactly banging goals in for fun, it's critical set pieces are utilised. Hard to predict a result but guessing he'd be happy with another draw so 1-1 😕
  15. You're saying that, but there's folk in this country who own sunbed shops, car washes and vape shops who are driving round in very expensive cars, it isn't purely down to the success of said establishments. There's quite often more to it than meets the eye....
  16. I suppose on paper it's a decent point, but we need more than just decent points/draws. We're going to have to take more risks and potentially get tubbed a few times somewhere along the way with a few wins scattered in there.
  17. Has anyone seen much of Leo Duru? Another 2 assists and a goal tonight, impressive return for a wing back.
  18. If you look at the October-December details last time, you'd imagine Jan-March is similar, so a fair chunk of the Wharton cash would be swallowed up. Those agent fees are enough to knock you sick.
  19. You said its not possible to make thousands on markets such as next manager bets, it is and people have. That's all I was responding to, because it's factually incorrect.
  20. 100% win record when I go to Boro, unfortunately working at weekend though 🥲 Gallagher for some weird reason always scores against them too, he was brilliant there last time I went. That's about as positive as I can be, they seem to have turned a corner after Plymouth beat them at home. Part of me is relieved I'm working, it's sad it's come to this.
  21. Not in the mood for you chaddy so ill leave you to shit rainbows and turd polish all day.
  22. In the picture I got sent Szmodics, Pickering, JRC and Buckley.
