  1. Am I missing obvious sarcasm? People don't actually think that X clip is a footballer arriving do they ๐Ÿคฃ nevermind Pickering.
  2. I do wonder if Kortrijk are part of some weird shit owners pact with us, maybe there's just a WhatsApp group and they tell us players we can have. They're owned by Vincent Tan who's obviously a cunt, managed to relegate not 1 but 2 teams he owns in a year with Cardiff going down too. He's pretty despised in Belgium from what I gather, predominantly because he is never around, presume he has a Pasha type 'running things' for them......
  3. I hope so, Miller is a big lad too, 6ft 2, could potentially fill in at centre half. Given the fragility of Carter and Wharton as well, I think that adds to his appeal.
  4. Lewis Miller would be a great signing, probably the best name we've been linked this summer. The only problem is think it's highly unlikely, especially with Charlton flexing their financial muscle too ๐Ÿฅฒ
  5. Official X account just posted a video clip of corporation Park, no idea what it's hinting at? Something to do with the away kit perhaps...
  6. Possibly looking to fleece corporate visitors using the facilities? Sure theyโ€™ll love that and come rushing back if soโ€ฆ:
  7. Carter's already hobbled off injured in his first game of the season, that's part of the reason a new Hyam contract would be very much welcomed, at least he can stay bloody fit
  8. I thought as much. Ribeiro I presume already had a deal agreed prior to his initial signing if both parties agreed to it. Forshaw would probably have signed anything we waved under his nose as he wouldn't have any other offers. So we either have nobody at the club capable of structuring a contract renewal, or we simply do not want to - i fail to see how it can't be 1 of these 2 scenarios and either is equally as pathetic for a championship club, well any pro football club really. I can't blame Brittain for wanting out because at 27 years old this is his last meaty contract before be passes 30 and starts getting offered shorter less lucrative deals. He could have gone about it better though, refusing to play is a cunts trick. Suppose he'll have seen it worked for Szmodics though so he's now expecting the same.
  9. Hyam must be on a half decent contract as you assume we had to offer him a bit more than he was already on at Coventry, a new contract would presumably make him one of our highest paid players - if this new contract offer even exists of course.....
  10. Have I completely forgotten someone, or has no player signed a new contract since Greg left? First team players not youngsters.
  11. You shouldn't refuse to play for the team regardless of your intentions tbf, it's obviously not Brittain's fault were owned and ran by twats, but as it stands we still pay his wages.
  12. Seems to be am obvious strategy with the transfers this summer of targeting players from relegated teams, unless its pure coincidence of course. They really ought to change the filters on the scouting software a bit now though and get a striker and centre half in ๐Ÿคž You'd expect we get probably 2 or 3 loan players in, so no sure how many, if any, more permanent signings we'll make....
  13. He won't even have been there back end of the season as he was at St Mirren, not saying that makes him a better signing in any way like. Must have been a decent pedigree playing for Arsenal's youth but seems to have gone backwards. So as back up maybe decent enough, as a Brittain replacement absolutely not
  14. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c62gd25ydzwo Although in the speech I heard she quoted a number of teams who'd been impacted by dreadful owners, no mention of us though. Suppose keeping the lights on, just, means they're OK to some....
  15. Just ridiculous stubbornness now and won't admit he was talking shite. Players often divide opinion, Tronstad isn't one of them, he's universally rated by our fans, apart from 1 person ๐Ÿ™„
  16. The comment by frostbite adds weight to the assumption we recruit via football managerโ€ฆโ€ฆ
  17. I donโ€™t remember him at all, worryingly his highest rating in a match for Cardiff came against us at Ewood too ๐Ÿ˜‚
  18. He's not really unproven playing at the level he has for Brondby and he's just made his debut for the national team, I'd be made up if we took a punt on him
  19. I'd be amazed if he wants to go to Turkey, he'd 100% favour a move in the North West to be near family.
  20. Just watched a YouTube clip (i know), his year in review 2024, its actually frightening, just gives the ball away almost every attack ๐Ÿคฃ
  21. Whatโ€™s so good about it? Was pretty basic when I went?
  22. And just like that, Chaddy thinks we are going to spend the cash and have a few active pursuits lined up - everything is perfect! Nice one Nixon.
  23. Logically how hard can it really be to finalise a contract with a player? I mean seriously? Make an offer, player rejects it and says what he wants, make a counter offer meeting him half way, maybe a bit more. I mean no disrespect to him itโ€™s Callum Brittain, itโ€™s not like negotiating with someone like Salah. But weโ€™ve been through this really shit pantomime countless times now an 9 times out of 10 it doesnโ€™t end well for us. The only time weโ€™ve had any competence at all was when GB was here, he had his critics but had a much better idea when it came to contracts than anyone else under this regime.
