Never heard anything like it in my life. But, in all honesty nothing I've read over the last few pages surprises me in the slightest. I don't even know how the members of the FF can even be bothered attending if this is the outcome. From the clubs perspective, this whole shambles is also doing more harm than good. It's easy to forget members of this message board are slightly more privy to things like this, although I have noticed Glen's statement being shared in FB groups which is good. I'd be tempted to just post the minutes in full, what's the worst that can happen? The club refuse to take part in further meetings? So? What purpose are they even serving anyway?

Yes agreed on Batth, although I'll admit I wasn't elated to sign him at the time after his spell at Norwich. Likewise yes as it stands we will miss Dolan, from someone who wasn't his biggest fan....

Same applies, how on earth can you label someone a downgrade without even seeing them play? I like Callum Brittain and wish he would have stayed, but let's not make out he is defensively flawless! He was made to look suspect many times last season, in his best season for us. Miller is clearly a different player reading what he's said and others who have seen him have said. Until proven otherwise he's a replacement in my mind for now, rather than an automatic downgrade.

The pursuit of Hedges was always very weird, we were after him for months on end. He did ok in Scotland, just ok though, not enough for us to be desperate to sign him! I can't actually believe he's only been here 3 years either, feels like an eternity, probably 1 of few contract extentions nobody was arsed about us triggering, but we did. I do find it very odd though how many people are saying with absolute certainty that Miller is a downgrade on Brittain without even seeing him play.

Where have you plucked this information from? West Brom have had a good window with Heggebo/Philips/Campbell. They haven't lost anyone of note either. Added to that, Dike is injured and turning into a right crock, so scrap that part of your post too......

Despite the stick he gets on here, Pears is average championship keeper standard I would say. His problem is, with a week to go to the new season all teams surely have a first choice keeper sorted now. I doubt he wants to play second fiddle, so he's not in an ideal situation..... I can see Buckley going to league 1 or even 2 purely on loan though as his wages will be a stretch for most teams. He will sulk about the place wherever he goes, if anywhere.

Not sure how Nixon can diagnose the requirement for surgery or quote recovery timescales unless he's VERY close to medical staff at the club. I would have thought surgery is pretty rare, it isn't a serious injury, just an annoyance.

In fairness he was absolutely prolific at youth level, not sure what's gone on since, injuries, possibly home sick as well, either way it's been a waste of time for all parties. Does anyone know if he even played when he went on loan to Lierse? Can't see any records 🤔

Currently at Genoa but been loaned out the past 2 seasons. A bit similar to Kargbo just on the right. Only 19, nippy, skillful, high resale potential, boxes being ticked right.... Bit weird when we spent a good few days in Spain as well. NEC were due to play yesterday against Werder Bremen but it got cancelled, not sure if we were a late replacement but we still had adequate time to sort a better schedule for the trip. One slight positive from today was VI showing some passion on the sidelines, friendly or not, good to see that in a manager.

We looked knackered from the start, when did we actually travel over there? Very few bright sparks in that apart from AK running the show for a while when he came on. I’m afraid Gueye looked very much like the raffle prize winner today and Yuki poor too. DeNeve was dreadful, one of his free kicks was as if he took it with a blindfold on. Let’s hope they were trying not to over exert themselves and risk injury…..
