As an aside, first time I've been in the riverside for a while and was appalled by the state of it in parts! The metal section of steps looked like they were ready to crumble at some point from the rust. Was chatting to a couple of Zwolle fans at half time and they too were saying what a shithole that stand was.

Nobody I know went to their actual seats in the riverside, not sure where you were. I wans initially on the Blackburn End side but moved to the opposite side when everyone sat down!

Dullest derby I can remember to be honest, on the pitch anyway, 0-0 would have been a fair result. Thank fuck I don't have to watch them play every week with their mind numbing brand of Parker ball. Something we need to do more of is get Baker up more loitering on the edge of the box to fire a Weimann style screamer in. He’s got a wicked shot on him as shown in set pieces etc previously. Surprised we haven’t tried to utilise this more, particularly if Gueye is playing and knocking balls down.

I'd be terrified if Gueye had to start in this game. Not from a playing perspective as he's contributed lately, I can just imagine him letting the occasion get to him, then doing something ridiculous and getting sent off. We do need defensive cover, a centre half that can cover full back would be ideal. However, teams aren't going to loan us players to sit on our bench so it's easier said than done. I must say, I had concerns over Batth getting injured a lot given his age, he's looked in great shape though 👍

He won't be coming but I'd rather push Brittain forward than play him at left back. He's the best crosser of the ball at the club - he wouldn't be on the left.

We need some pace to make us more effective, we have it to an extent with ACD but when he plays we become more frail defensively. I’m not a huge Hedges fan but he does offer more protection. You could of course argue that’s not his primary job. There's a player in Sweden that fits the bill, goes by the name of Herman Johansson. Bags of pace with an eye for goal. Probably get him for around 1m, which of course they won’t stump up.
