  1. Just on Travis, told he was openly talking about leaving from the first day of pre season. What baffles me most is we clearly knew this yet continued to play him, his contributions were mainly just picking up bookings as he looked disinterested throughout. Only possibly reason I can think is we asked him to hang on a bit till we sorted a replacement!? I suppose in return he built his match fitness up ready to join his new club. To be clear, I’m not criticising Travis in all of this, just the cunts at the top.
  2. Don't understand why Forest haven't just paid him off and waved goodbye, he's of absolutely no use to them, or us, or anyone.
  3. Been offered a free ticket and can’t even be arsed still, even in the Kean era I went religiously but not any more. Partly swayed by going on holiday early Sunday too but even so, can’t remember being this disinterested before. Struggling to take any positives from the last few games, any at all. Hopefully the new players end up half decent and gel with the longer standing players, but for now……
  4. Might be disappointed on the loan front. VI has openly said he doesn't favour loans, in fact he was describing them as 'pointless' at the kit launch as they just obstruct development of our own youth players. To an extent I do agree with him, but you at least need some decent options in your youth team to bring through. Now whilst Adam Wharton has set the bar high, I'm not seeing anyone looking remotely close to being first team ready coming through! Ideally you want to be bringing youth players through when we're stable and doing reasonably well on the pitch, not for our relegation battle that's looming. Hopefully he has a rethink and recognises we need some decent loan players in ASAP if permanent are beyond us!
  5. Axel looks like he can ping a few in from outside the box, not really evident on Saturday but going off his previous goals. That and our awful set pieces are 2 huge problems for us, both things that teams who will struggle for goals should have nailed. Even watching Sheff Weds yesterday and despite all their issues, their set pieces were 10 times better than ours.
  6. He's pretty much the only person who gives Chaddy the time of day, most can't be arsed anymore
  7. Probably fallen victim to their limited pre season here Sheff Weds, Leicester over running them now. Fair play to them though they've given it a good go.
  8. Nah you're wrong there tbf he has good stas for headers won, only Hyam better last season. He was probably amongst the better strikers in the league on that front. However, it is a deceiving stat, Sam Gallagher appeared to be useful if you just looked at aerial duals won because half of them went to absolutely nobody. There's winning headers and there's winning useful headers and making things happen, Gueye is useful at this IMO.
  9. Nope it made me think what sort of uptake there would be from our fans for the same and it wouldn't be as effective, although as much as I hate to say it, at this point their situation is a bit worse, for now. Imagine a joint protest when we play them and an empty ground, all piling in at the same agreed time, they'd probably postpone it.
  10. Fair play Sheff Weds, a well executed protest and getting the coverage on Sky, good support from Leicester fans too for it. As an aside their first corner was better than we’ve mustered up for a while despite all their issues, better team here as well….
  11. Yeah we lost 1 nil, not the horror show some are making out. We could do with banging a few in against Bradford now, I wouldn’t even be messing much with whatever VI believes is his best 11 and hopefully they shape up and show they can indeed score goals.
  12. Probably wanted to nake an impression too, unfortunately that didn't exactly go to plan. I mean it wasn't quite Flitcrofts but still. I think he'll turn out OK.
  13. He never responds to you if you call him out either, very odd bloke. Mind you Mercer does similar on here too and I suspect he's a lot older and should be wiser
  14. First competitive game maybe but last week he was also absolutely abysmal, I'm talking basic football skills completely lacking. One of his free kicks was so bad it's hard to believe he wasn't under the influence.
  15. He looks like a massive mistake to me
  16. The Vine is a fantastic pub πŸ‘Œ Sadly not going today, was working out stupid prices via train and on holiday next week so watching the pennies, despite all the shite we put up with I'm still gutted not to be going though.
  17. Well that reaffirms everyone's opinion that SS is a twat, thanks for sharing
  18. Never heard anything like it in my life. But, in all honesty nothing I've read over the last few pages surprises me in the slightest. I don't even know how the members of the FF can even be bothered attending if this is the outcome. From the clubs perspective, this whole shambles is also doing more harm than good. It's easy to forget members of this message board are slightly more privy to things like this, although I have noticed Glen's statement being shared in FB groups which is good. I'd be tempted to just post the minutes in full, what's the worst that can happen? The club refuse to take part in further meetings? So? What purpose are they even serving anyway?
  19. Can see this panning out a bit like NEC last week. WBA 2 up at half time, awful first half from us. Kargbo on at half time and sparks a bit of a fight back We score 1 and the game fizzles out to a 2-1 home win.
  20. I've seen a few neutrals listing us as dark horses for the play offs. Tbf just quoting us narrowly missing out last season and VI being a 'good fit' for the club. Like with anything related to us, only us fans know the full picture off the pitch and on it so I can see why they come to such verdicts.
  21. Miyoshi would be a great signing. Would be nice to sign someone we've seen play and we're confident would do well here too! Bit concerning hearing its been on the cards for a while though and still not done...
  22. Yes agreed on Batth, although I'll admit I wasn't elated to sign him at the time after his spell at Norwich. Likewise yes as it stands we will miss Dolan, from someone who wasn't his biggest fan....
  23. Same applies, how on earth can you label someone a downgrade without even seeing them play? I like Callum Brittain and wish he would have stayed, but let's not make out he is defensively flawless! He was made to look suspect many times last season, in his best season for us. Miller is clearly a different player reading what he's said and others who have seen him have said. Until proven otherwise he's a replacement in my mind for now, rather than an automatic downgrade.
  24. You're wrong, he's shite, the people on here who've never seen him play said so.
