You never know, Yuki might have a 'Szmodics' season or the breakthrough like we saw with BBD. People will scoff, but Szmodics scored just 5 league goals in his first season here, Yuki got 9 whilst adapting to not just a new league, but a new country too, after playing a shed load of games. As it stands, we certainly need him to shine.... Gueye I'm not as confident with although he does randomly look capable now and then so can hopefully play a part. It's crunch time for Leonard too, he's managed just 32 appearances now in 3 seasons, simply not good enough at that age, if he spends another season crocked we may as well assign him to the scrap heap I'm afraid. Question marks remain over his ability but he's never going to prove himself from the treatment room or with the odd fleeting substitute appearance here and there.

I hope so, Miller is a big lad too, 6ft 2, could potentially fill in at centre half. Given the fragility of Carter and Wharton as well, I think that adds to his appeal.

Lewis Miller would be a great signing, probably the best name we've been linked this summer. The only problem is think it's highly unlikely, especially with Charlton flexing their financial muscle too 🥲

Hyam must be on a half decent contract as you assume we had to offer him a bit more than he was already on at Coventry, a new contract would presumably make him one of our highest paid players - if this new contract offer even exists of course.....

Seems to be am obvious strategy with the transfers this summer of targeting players from relegated teams, unless its pure coincidence of course. They really ought to change the filters on the scouting software a bit now though and get a striker and centre half in 🤞 You'd expect we get probably 2 or 3 loan players in, so no sure how many, if any, more permanent signings we'll make....
