  1. He's fat, he's blunt, we all think he's a........ I think you know the rest
  2. Women's team played yesterday, did we stick wigs on a few of the blokes?
  3. Yep we need to stick with him and make sure he gets the minutes, there's going to be some frustrations I'm afraid, just hope people don't get on his back if he misses a chance or 2. Young lad, new country, new league and ultimately quite a unique style of play under JDT. It was probably a bit of an eye opener yesterday as it was such a close game. Ideally we would have been 5 nil up for his debut! He looks a unit for sure, let's hope he proves to be a handful for opposition defences 👍
  4. His issues here have been with fitness. I'm not gonna keep waffling on about it but nothing has suggested in his time at Rovers that he's made of glass like you say. Judge him on his time here not his alleged injuries somewhere else.
  5. He has not been injured in all that time, not sure why people are not grasping it. His I jury that he does actually have now was inflicted in a game and when you see the incident, unsurprising.
  6. Szmodics development gives me hope for Ennis. When he trapped from posh he was absolutely nowhere near the athlete he is now, although he did look burnt out when he came off. Seems a likeable chap in the dressing room too, definitely a tick for GB on this one.
  7. Enjoyed it, bit nervy at the end like but we survived. Might just be me but we're far more enjoyable to watch this season, not quite Keegan-esque but it's better than last season when we created 3 chances a game at this stage (granted we seemed more clinical then). I'm calling it now, Carter will be our next biggish money sale, he's improved so much and motm for me today. Under the guidance of Ayala and Hyam I guess. Dolan on the other hand has taken bulking up too far and is looking a shadow of the player that burst onto the scene. Finally, time to start docking wages of these officials, absolutely appalling.
  8. We definitely can't call him injury prone yet, as for as I know he's only had 1 actual injury which is the current one. Prior to that the issue was fitness, or terrible lack of. From what I've seen there's still work to be done there too if he's going to fit into this team. Fans are (understandably) showing frustration now, he's been here for months and we've barely seen him, it's disappointing. With a limited budget and lack of goals we most certainly have no room for passengers. Fingers crossed he's back playing soon.....
  9. People really ought to disregard Boro being bottom of the league, after 5 games. No way in this world they finish anywhere near the bottom 3, if we finish above them we'll have had a good season. This will be a tough, tough game there's no 2 ways about it.
  10. You keep on mentioning 45 games last season despite being pulled up on it. 45 APPEARANCES Chaddy. In the league (38 apps) he played 1839 minutes in total. Which equates to around 20 full games, or an average of 48 minutes across the 38 appearances. As a comparison, Dominic Hyam made 1 more league appearance than Ennis, yet he totalled 3433 minutes in total.......spot the difference.
  11. Ennis was always coming from behind after turning up in terrible shape. Let's hope Telalovic ends up decent with Siggy to follow so we're not as reliant on him. Early indications not good.
  12. Erm Flowers was a record signing, the most expensive keeper in the country! Friedel was brought in by Souness as his signing. You cannot compare either.
  13. Re dropping Pears....a change of goalkeeper is easily the biggest change a manager can make to his starting 11 and not one they'll take lightly. We saw this once Kaminski was fit last season, I have no doubts JDT thinks he's a better keeper than Pears but he probably thought it would do more harm than good switching keepers at that stage of the season. I have a suspicion that Wahlstedt will be asked to show his worth in the cup game before he's given a starting slot in the league. He was untested for the most part Vs Harrogate. Personally I'd play him tomorrow, but I'm not sure he will......
  14. It's a bloody poor do when even Chaddy is critical of the club 🥲 I'm looking forward to JDT's take on this. Imagine having a manager who takes the cups seriously, gets the players up for it, which in itself would add more bums on seats.....All for Waggott to ensure an even more empty looking ground than usual with literally no atmosphere whatsoever. The magic of the cup eh Jon?
  15. SW is that out of touch he probably thinks forcing Blackburn End stalwarts into the JW might drive increased season ticket revenue the following season, as they all decide they like the view better and snap up more expensive season tickets 🤡 In reality it just means people won't go.
  16. No dreaming on your part, 4 goals in the last 4 games against them, including a cracking brace at the Riverside last season. Buckleys ball throwing probably didn't help in his efforts to add to that tally at home....
  17. Absolutely. Even by Waggotts standards, its up there with his most idiotic moves.
  18. Didn't think there was anything particularly groundbreaking or surprising in that really. Quite interesting that his version of events differed to JDT's on Buckley, but it would be a little foolish to bare faced lie in public about it. Also how he said we thought off championship competition for Hill and Moran, wonder who those teams were? Its promising that the JDT factor was a big pull, also worrying for if/when he does leave though.......
  19. Updates from the official club pages are dire they really are, winning 2-1 with 10 mins or so to play, Reading are down to 10 men
  20. I find it alarming that on the image above its got 51 'likes' on that joke of a statement, I assume it's probably a lot more now. We have a lot of fans that have been utterly brainwashed by this fucked up regime.
  21. Maybe it will? We have a new striker and siggy yet to drop, also lard arse to get fit.
  22. Not retreating to panic mode after that like some. The scoreline isn't really a fair reflection on the game and these days happen. One things for certain though, it's given the manager a good reason to change the goalkeeper next time out....
