  1. Absolutely blows my mind that those 3 are being paid much much more (I presume) than anyone on this board and not one of them has an ounce of intelligence.
  2. As soon as I was sent the team in the morning with Woodrow starting I made the decision to not even watch or even keep tabs on the score. The result is pretty much as expected although I thought Pompey would manage 2 goals. We knew this manager would be dog shit, we knew Woodrow would be too, absolutely zero interest in the remainder of this season. As it stands I'm also absolutely dreading next season too, there's no way on this planet that we avoid relegation under this stiff. It'll be a huge ask for even a decent manager given what he'll be working with too. At least get someone remotely likeable in though and get the players playing again. VI has the charisma of a potato, but at least potatoes are versatile. He'll be filed away in the same cunt like folder Steve Kean is when he inevitably departs, let's just hope that's sooner rather than later. Honestly can't believe over 1k fans went yesterday, hats off to them indeed, they must be insane though! I'd close the curtains if they were playing in my back garden at the moment.
  3. What if I told you Woodrow starts up top in a 442 🤔
  4. Under this manager we haven’t looked capable of winning a game never mind putting a run together. I’d say this is probably VI’s toughest fixture to date too.
  5. Classic Waggott move. He absolutely knows season ticket sales will be dire next season so he's getting them on sale quicker so he can say "we tried, we got the tickets on sale quicker following feedback from fan groups". Effectively trying to blame the fan base when the final sales figures or so low. "Nothing more we can do" 🙄 Even priced super low, sales would struggle for next season regardless. Unless of course the twats in Pune sell up.
  6. What a ridiculous comment, but not surprising. Step outside your bubble, you're clearly commenting on the nightlife on your doorstep. Get out a bit more, do some travel and you'll realise the nightlife hasn't 'gone' everywhere in the country at all.
  7. If you’re mid 40’s upwards you then like myself I genuinely think we got very lucky indeed growing up supporting the club when we did. League and cup wins, promotions, watching our team in Europe multiple times. Watching some ridiculously good players like Shearer, the list goes on and on. In addition, life in general in this area was much better, the nightlife was spot on, people travelling from miles around to attend dance events that will go down in history. I think that’s partly why people around this age and above have an added level of hatred for those rats in Pune and the vermin they’ve brought anywhere near our club. I hope for my kids sakes we rise again but I won’t be taking my youngest much as things stand, she plays football and has all the good stuff coached into her, she doesn’t need to witness the poisonous mess at Ewood for now. My dad had some VHS footage of the homecoming and Ewood as he was in the box Philips had, I need to get him to dust that off and convert it.
  8. 2 years is industry standard in many jobs for finding out someone is useless at their job meaning they jump ship, looks like this fella doesn't even get quite that far. Always rings alarm bells for me when sifting through CV's and I'm not often wrong on the subject!
  9. I think he'd try and save face by walking. There'll be some bullshit mutual agreement statement wheeled out saying he misses his family or something
  10. Waggot only gets a 100k bonus that season ☹️ Although I genuinely believe he will fuck off at the end of this season. He must know now the carpet is nowhere near big enough to brush this summers shit storm under.
  11. ACD was seen as a bit of a coup at the time with a number of clubs after him, really disappointing how he's turned out, although our rotten club can't be an easy place for a kid to develop right now.
  12. You're probably in a minority of fans that aren't blocked by the fat prick. He's a right petulant cry baby if you pull him up on anything.
  13. Who do you see us beating? VI has now lost to 3 of the bottom 5 teams in the league, we'll definitely lose at Luton to make it 4. He's lucky we don't play Plymouth again or it would be all 5. We're a pathetic shell of a football team/club.
  14. You often here people say there's no easy games in the championship. Absolute bollocks, we're an absolute shambles and if you're needing point for a promotion push or a relegation battle, we're the team to play. I genuinely don't think we'll win again all season now.
  15. Doesn't look like it JRC Hyam Carter Ribeiro
  16. JRC at right back and starts for Yuki, Dennis and Tronstad, glad Cantwell makes way tbh and time Dennis earnt his wage so we'll see....
  17. Even a fairly large percentage of season ticket holders must be thinking "nah fuck that". Honestly can't remember feeling this despondent in a long time about Rovers. Its pretty much exactly what most of expected under VI though, arguably even worse! Mad to think how far away we are now from Gueye and his cheer leading, even he has stopped smiling. Waggott must be planning his departure at the end of the season I'm convinced of it, then he'll leave someone else to try and pick up the pieces. Whilst I'm sure we all agree him leaving is good news, I dread to think which desperate cretin will replace him.... On a personal level, as a lifelong supporter of coming up to 40 years, even checking the score tomorrow will be a chore. How did it come to this.....
  18. Another horror show against another awful team. You do have to wonder just how embarrassing it may get playing a good team under this fella, he's had a very favourable set of fixtures and completely fucked it up beyond belief. These aren't just bad performances, it's no exaggeration to compare them to Keans reign. Thank FUCK I am working on Saturday and won't have to endure us rolling over again. These players aren't playing for the manager 1 bit, but they should at least give it a go for the poor bastards who turn up to watch. Christ, a full season of this awaits, possibly worse as we lose anyone remotely decent in summer as well.
  19. 3/5 at the back and no Tronstad,Sanderson, Forshaw and Cantwell start
  20. 3 of their last 5 at home have finished 0-0, but Pears seems to be in one of his mad confidence crashes and the defence without Batth fills me with zero confidence in a clean sheet. The fans are going into a game against a team near the foot of the table with huge doubts in the teams ability to carve out a win, the players are coming across like they are doubting themselves too. Another loss here and we may as well pot VI now. Still pissed off about Saturday, it's going to take something special tonight to win me round.
  21. Christ it’s really descending into such a dreadful end of season, again. Realistically we should still be dreaming of Wembley, most fans would in our position. Can’t be many people feeling that way though. It’s massively down to the uninspiring managerial appointment, we all had massive doubts and given how “up for it” the players look, we were absolutely right Beyond bored with this shite now. Struggling to muster any interest at all for this one, I’ll at least attempt to watch it as there’s sod all else to do on a Wednesday night though.
  22. Definitely going for it with the attacking team he's putting out 💙🤍 Yuki must have impressed in training he's starting with Kargbo and Dolan too, Gueye up top. Tronstad back is the best news in ages though.
  23. The owners are cunts Waggott is a cunt Suhail is a cunt But despite all that I don't see the issue with people also having a tainted view on Eustace. He walked out on our famous old club FFS. That therefore makes him a cunt too
  24. Football is that unpredictable at the minute, despite our usual tendency to fuck games like this up, we're probably equally as likely to win 5 nil. The only constant is Liverpool winning every week, well maybe not in the FA cup like but still. I watched the highlights of their game at weekend, they huffed and puffed a lot but looked really shit for the most part. Really, really shit. Just hope VI has them up for it, JE definitely will have Derby up for it. Doesn't happen often that both home and away teams are exactly the same odds on 365 at 17/10 so the bookies ain't got a damn clue how it's going to go either....
  25. Bit disappointed really, didn't feel like a classic new manager bounce performance teams often put in. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh given the 2 training sessions VI has had to stamp his mark on the team? Hopefully a full week with the players ahead of Saturday will help. Eustace will have had 3 weeks or so at his new home. Quite a startling stat, for Derby fans anyway, is that in his 3 games in charge his team have managed 2 shots on target 😳 That includes registering 0 at home to Millwall. There's simply no excuses, i personally think our play-off chances are very slim, but I'd probably write them off completely if we can't beat Derby.....
