  1. I'm so jealous i wish i was going. I'm hoping that a day is lost due to rain then i can go along on monday
  2. Great preview, but i think its a bit early to have Fulham and Spurs previews before the West Hame game!
  3. Never any doubt Well played skip! p.s. Vaughan is on for a double ton! he's on 129 at the moment
  4. Vaughan's on for a ton here i can feel it!
  5. i think its a huge gamble to play them both, if they both break down early then the Aussies are left with a problem!
  6. Nobody can argue that Jansen wasn't anything short of superb for Rovers in our promotion season and the one afterwards. Anybody that says otherwise clearly wasn't watching Rovers during that period! I hope more than anybody that Matty can re-find that form but if he can't its not because he's not got the talent it's because he's so unfortunate that the accident ruined his career. In sparky we have a manger who has faith in him as he saw exactly what he could do in that time.
  7. Get drunk, sing some songs and create as good an atmosphere as there was at Edgbaston.
  8. Sky sports are reporting that Brett Lee has been sent to hospital with a knee infection He's got to be a doubt for Old Trafford
  9. Well played Brett Lee, he handled Harmy and Flintoff's short stuff well. I thought we had thrown it away but we managed to nick it. I think Warne will spin them to a win at Old Trafford but hopefully we can take it all the way to the Oval.
  10. Ye brilliant end to the what was a fantastic bowling performance! A pretty good whole day really part from the battin collapse this mornin, gud to see the high middle order pull it round....again.
  11. Aussies lose one game and they immedietly turn on their skipper!
  12. Seems weird that we are complaining about the opposition being too physical!!! Good performance from us today though
  13. Wot a catch by Tresco, were not out of it yet!
  14. FREDDIE IS GOD!!! Listen to that atmosphere! CUMON ENGLAND! 48-2
  15. The ex Rovers boys had a influence in the Sheff Utd - Leicester game 2day. Nissa gave away a pen and Gillespie put in a great cross for ifill's goal. I always thought Gillespie was a great player when he played for us. Not like Souness to fall out with a good player is it
  16. Great read Ozz. A bit of a coincidence that all the hammers fans to reply where the ones who obviously don't know football... How are the brummies possibly a bigger club than us?
  17. Which fool decided to drop Graham Thorpe? Nobody can honestly say they would prefer Ian Bell in the side ahead of Graham Thorpe, there is just no contest. Thought Pieterson proved to everybody he is test standard just a shame he had a mare in the field when usually he's excellent. Maybe that can be put down to nerves and him wanting to impress so much but we were poor all round in the field. We'll have to sharpenm up a lot if we are to have a chance - and stop collapsing in the batting department.
  18. Agreed but he wasn't the only one to drop catches and he did bat better than most of the others. I still think he's the best choice for wicket keeper. I do feels sorry for Simon Jones though he bowled quite well actually and didnt get the suppot needed from the fielders. Were not out of the game yet though!
  19. What a start!!! We need to get Gilchrist early after lunch though.
  20. Agree. Does anybody else not feel Rovers missed the boat and should have tried to sign him on a free?
  21. Before the One Dayers began i was really positive about our chances in the Ashes but i feel that the Natwest series and the Natwest challenge have been excellent warm-up games for them and i just fell that they are coming in to form particularly Ponting and Gilchrist after their Hundreds. If we can compete in the first couple of test and avoid defeat the pressure will mount on the Aussies and i feel we will have a chance to finally beat them again. Gonna be a cracking series can't wait for it to begin tomorrow morning. CUMON ENGLAND!!!
