We were top of the frm leaague before the game against West Brom so on that basis we should win easy. 3-1 Everton though! Rovers to score first and lead 1-0 at half time then fall apart.

it looks like Bentley will be needed up front for the next fe weeks and i think Reid is far better in the centre of midfield so hopefully tht will give Emerton a chance to win his place back, he usaully plays well when he has something to prove, shame it doesn't usually last though.

What about the peanlty that was given to us but the ref didn't send off Ricardo, when he had already come off the bench, he then got up saved the penalty and they went on to get a winner

The only problem with playing Dickov and Kuqi up front is the amount of chances that get wasted, this could be costly for us today.

Completely amazed at this criticism. MGP has been briliant fro Rovers and is one of best players who scores vital goals and creates many more goals. What more do you want from a player!!!! The guy is fantastic and we would be foolish to sell him!

It would but what about the risks in spending that money. We spent £5mil on Bellamy hoping he would get goals and he can't because he spents 90% of the time injured. Is it worth the risk swapping someone who we know will get goals and stay fit and be a key part of the team for trying to find someone who will do the same job but cheaper. This doesn't sound like a progressing team to me? We need to keep our best layers and keep them performing if we want to improve not cash in on them like we have done in the past.

As the old saying goes, wou don't buy a ticket you don't win the raffle! There was very little movement upfront yesterday and this added to a packed bolton defence Reidy had no other oprions sometimes other than to shoot. Apart from his shooting i thought he had a great game yesterday and made many bursting runs that tried to keep bolton on the back foot when the rest of the team where happy to play at a slow tempo. As for the other 3 who apparently let the team down, Todd has been superb particularly for the last 2 games, Gray has been excellent since coming back into the team and as long as he is keeping Matteo out of the team he is doing a great job! Although Kuqi may have very little quality he always gives 100% and is a handful even if his finishing and passing is a little frustrating at times. We have had eough players at Rovers in the past who couldn't be arsed trying at least Kuqi has that.

The awarding of the free kick from every single corner was the most annoying thing about a totally awful performance from a poor ref.

How did we not win that game!!! Great effort by the players and we were incredibly unlucky as Bolton cheated there way to a point. They should have had Fadiga sent off as well as Nakata but i'm sure Big Sam will find somehting to moan at the ref for, who was the only person on the pitch that had a worse game than Emerton! I was shocked by the disgraceful tactics of kicking as many Rovers players as they could, mainly Savage and the time wasting was appauling. Sooner or later the FA should punish scum like that. I was annoyd when i found out that Bellamy wasn't playing but it was obvious that he was injured and shouldn't have even been on the bench. We deserved to win comfortably and i was a bit dissapointed that a few fans booed at the end considering that we played well and were very unlikely, although the fact that we were unlucky is no excuse it was stil a good effort from the players. I thought Tugay should have been introduced espeially with them having 10 men and the game getting older i think that he culd have been the key to unlocking a packed bolton defence.

I don't think Jansen will starst and doubt that he will het on at all but if he does i hope he gets a magnificient reception whatever the scoreline is.

Although the guy's a complete idiot i don't think we will on saturday. We looked tired toward the end of the game on wednesday and i think Boltons hight tempo style will be too much for us and they will nick it.

Fantastic message Matty has written i hope he gets one last chance to play at Ewood Park then we can all show how much we appreciated his commitment and talent over the last 7 years.

It was a great game to watch ad a good atmosphere, alwyas feels much beter when the stadium is nearly full even if alot of em are mancs. I think Utd were the better team but our back 4 were sensational and we have still very much got a chance of winning the tie.

Hopefully we can get a big crowd in and all of us witnessa brilliant game with Rovers winning by plenty!!!

Could be worse and could be better, we have a chance of getting through, West Ham will feel the same but perhaps stronger, should make for a good cup tie.

Very easy, it was almost like a training match. Tugay controlled the game and an encouraging performance from Peter. Dickov was very quiet and Thompson was very poor again. Overall a very efficient performance but it will be a bit tougher on wednesday night.
