  1. Lancs clearly still at least a bowler light this season. I seriously doubt they get promoted.
  2. He'd be a good spokesperson to put forward for any more tv / radio interviews.
  3. Waggott sitting there in the cushy Jack Walker Stand with a bodyguard tells you everything you need to know about these people.
  4. It's been obvious for a long while. You don't survive multiple managerial changes unless you're protected from upon high.
  5. Imagine saying everyone is on trial to see who should be in the squad for next season when you were handed the job in 5th place. How do these people say this with a straight face?
  6. They need a new manager, not a new owner. So many fans are ridiculously entitled.
  7. There should be some 'poison pill' clauses that stop teams swooping in and stealing players i.e. £10m if they ever play a game of first team football in one of the top five leagues in Europe. Otherwise they're just going to continue to steal them from the crib for peanuts.
  8. Evidently we can't afford anyone, so that point is moot. We clearly have different standards. He's simply not good enough - neither quick enough to play on the wing or clinical enough to play as a 10. I love his work rate, but I hate how wasteful he is with possession.
  9. I'd happily drive him to his next destination if there's a transfer fee involved.
  10. Imagine if the Execs were so diligent when it came to running the club, eh?
  11. A three-window transfer embargo is a death sentence in this league.
  12. I see your game here - you're trying to track his bowel movements.
  13. This weekend has been a positive - we've made positive inroads into the regime. We need to keep the pressure up. What Burnley do is irrelevant - we're a much bigger club than them when we aren't being artificially supressed by spiteful / incompetent owners.
  14. They gambled and went for it. I thought they were incredibly lucky last year - they weren't one of the better teams we played.
  15. They both clearly are - what they don't get is any service. Hedges and Dolan are woeful football players. Buckley was a disgrace last night too.
  16. Dunn? Have you heard him on BBC Radio Lancs? He's a Venky's apologist, he'd jump at the chance.
  17. How many businesses have you been involved with where the seller appears to be happy to lose £20m a year, running on for over £200m in debt, and makes no effort to improve the situation or engage with buyers? This is not a normal situation. If it was we'd have been sold a decade ago.
  18. I suspect we're in the bottom 3 in the Championship in terms of wage bill. As for bigger fan bases - we seemed to do ok 15 years ago. It's incredible what 15 years of owners strangling the life out of a club will do to attendances.
  19. Ours appear to be all over the BBC and Talkshite - Sutton, Shearer, Savage, Warnock, Murphy...
  20. The First XI was as good as teams Eustace fielded for most of the year. The bench was perhaps slightly weaker - but Eustace wasn't conceding goals within 3 minutes every week.
  21. 1990s John Williams I hope - he'd have to be in his 80s by now. A good CEO would be given a budget every year and work towards it - as far as I'm aware they're not hands-on enough to change the budget mid-season. The A. Wharton sale (for example - and a good CEO wouldn't have sold him in January to the first bidder!) would have been reinvested into the squad, with some held back for running costs and a rainy day. Suhail and Waggott are content to strip the club back to the bare bones then seem surprised when things fall apart.
  22. Oh yes, he's clearly an odious individual. He'll only leave when every penny we owe him has been paid.
  23. There's a feedback thread on here - they're crying out for volunteers...
