That's clearly a straight red for the Portsmouth player. -

I don't think they've downed tools, per se, but they're clearly absolutely clueless with regards to how they're being asked to play - patterns of, formation etc. We thought we'd be in a relegation scrap with this squad at the start of the season - Eustace clearly drilled them to within an inch of their lives as without him they all look terrible. -

If he was good at his job I wouldn't have to comment. He's been disgraceful - pulled from the home end by the looks of it. -

They guaranteed that in January. -
There's literally no point having an Academy if any potential PL standard player is poached before they're 18.

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

I mean the opening move is checkmate in terms of their response - they can't come out and say "fair enough, we recognise we're a big part of the problem and we'll stay away". They'll massage the public message for a bit now - sit down interviews with Waggott and co, club statements etc. -
I suspect they won't - they're desperate to avoid bad PR whenever they can. That's such a bad PR move. The likes of Man U and Liverpool get criticised in the press because they don't throw millions at their women's teams.
-
That's possibly true, but further to Upside Down's point, they're tactically clueless. We have a wide range of ages in our group (it's 7 a side, drawn from a large pool of players). Invariably the older lads (in their 30s) hold their positions whereas the younger lads can dribble, but have no idea about positional play and are frustrating to play with.

Latvia should be livid Bellingham wasn't sent off.
-
Exactly.
-
Rogers looks lost - why is he allowed a free role when Foden was under strict instructions to stay on his wing?
-
We're desperate for out and out wingers, especially in this formation. Also is Harry Kane playing?
-
Everyone knows why, but nobody in authority is doing anything about it...
-
It's all irrelevant - we won't see a penny of it. It's just helped the owners (and by the sounds of it will continue to help them) keep their strangle hold on the club without investing any money. I'm resigned to that fact now - they're determined to kill us. The biggest travesty is that we only got to see him play for Rovers for 12 months.
-
A brave manager would drop Kane. Obviously easier said than done considering the amount of goals he's scored. He's zero threat to run in behind - partly because he's now a lumbering oaf and partly because he seems to want to play as a #10. That reduces the way you can attack teams - and why most of our play is pretty 5 yard passes in-front of a settled defence. I'd give Watkin and Solanke a go. I wouldn't be opposed to throwing Delap into the mix too. We need a physical presence upfront.

Rice is a DM. As much as people want to call him a CM / Box-to-Box Midfielder, he's at his best firefighting. Big lad, good engine and reads the game well. He simply doesn't have the range of passing to be played further forward - he's clearly most comfortable playing 5-10 yard passes to more technically proficient players.
