  1. I'll be honest, lads, it doesn't even hurt any more. The way they Waggott and his mate were allowed to dispose of Eustace finished me off. This french lad is taking us down though - horrendous appointment.
  2. See this is the glaring problem with football - these players are cloggers, but they throw themselves to the ground, clutching their faces / ankles like they're prime Ronaldo playing against Maldini. They have no shame. Work hard, be honest and recognise your place in the food chain. Nobody is here to watch you writhe around on the floor trying to buy a foul.
  3. I'd love Gueye to leave one on Phillips - the judas prick.
  4. Cos the guy has lashed out at Cantwell - clearly likes to dish it out, but can't take it. The tart.
  5. LOL imagine getting bullied by Cantwell. What a tart.
  6. Pears... He`s not ready for this level of football or the physicality and was a stupid transfer. 😉
  7. Mowbray dabbled with it at times, otherwise no not in my time watching the team.
  8. That's genuinely more embarrassing than Dolan reaching 200 games. Name a worse player to play that many games for us. Bloody hell.
  9. Having seen Pears 100 times... oh you already know the rest of this sentence.
  10. Nothing we have seen from Toth so far suggests he's any worse than Pears. He left a starting job in Hungary to literally never get a sniff in England when the incumbent makes mistake after mistake after mistake. He'll be off in the summer.
  11. Toth's agent will have a new club for him lined up by now. They must be absolutely furious.
  12. Didn't take long for the French lad to go back to what he knows - 3 at the back after 1.5 games, despite saying he wasn't looking to change things up too much when he first signed.
  13. He's just come back from a long lay off. It's a second game in 4 days - makes sense to rest him if you can. That said he's starting fucking Pears again so he's clearly a clown.
  14. Can't recommend that sub - far too many awful memes and people with no sense of humour.
  15. Yeah I haven't taken to him at all either. Partly it was the ridiculous media campaign when he arrived (allez le bleu can get right in the bin!), partly because his track record is woeful apart from one season with Barnsley and partly cos he just seems like a prick.
  16. I think Jack Walker was fantastic, but any protest shouldn't be built around his name and achievements. He's not coming back. If you're planning on such a campaign, to 'fill Ewood' for one game as a show of defiance it should be about the illustrious history of the club and it's significance to the town (and surrounding area). Weave in to that messaging how our Indian owners have strangled the life out of the club and you've got a powerful statement.
  17. Better yet - the fans would be blamed. "Oh what else could we do? It's a small town club with no support". Nobody with any power / reach seems willing to recognise why support has ebbed away. It's infuriating as a fan.
  18. I didn't realise you moved in those circles.
  19. I'd take my chances with Kim Jong Un over the Venkys at this point. The bar is so low you could step over it.
  20. We never struggled to attract fans when we were in the Premier League. Bolton, Wigan, Preston, Blackpool are all down. We could easily dominate Lancashire (and in to Cumbria and Cheshire) again if we had a marketing team worth their salt. Burnley have never held much appeal for most - even with their huge celebrity American backing (Dude Perfect / JJ Watt) they're incredibly unfashionable. Alas none of this will happen with the current owners in charge.
  21. Not good enough. I'll pick him up and drive him there myself to make sure he arrives on time.
  22. Would he? Duru is out on loan, O'Riordan is out on loan, Batty is out on loan, Garrett is out on loan etc etc. We've had significant injuries in all of those areas and those youngsters haven't had a sniff.
  23. That's exactly the point. People are spending their hard earned cash and their time supporting a team that is trying their best. Unfortunately those in the Board Room and the Owners aren't singing from the same hymn sheet. All they care about is reducing costs to a manageable level - which will ultimately end in tears - and they have no interest in pushing for promotion. Those poor fans are being taken for a ride.
  24. PL clubs tend to hoover up anyone promising these days - they'll just loan them back out.
