  1. LOL this reminds me of when Allardyce threw every striker we had on the pitch at Ewood against.... I want to say Portsmouth.
  2. Especially when you're playing a ridiculous False 9 formation. He's a forward, whack him upfront somewhere.
  3. I mean I'm one of the most critical of Mowbray, but to be fair to him Armstrong and Elliot have missed literal sitters.
  4. 5 minutes now while the players work out where the fuck they're meant to be playing after those subs.
  5. Maybe he's just bored with the job and fancies hamstringing himself for 60 minutes to get the blood flowing?
  6. Honestly with these new owners (who appear to be happy to write cheques for fun) I'd LOVE good manager in charge. We'd be in the Prem within a season.
  7. I mean if that's your level, neither is Gallagher. Sub them all I guess...
  8. That's been coming - we've been shit this half.
  9. We're still awful anytime the opposition has their defence set - just don't pull them out of position with our movement / passing.
  10. He'll go on to have a much better career than anyone in this side (bar Branthwaite maybe), but he's been poor for a few games now. Just appears to be undroppable. Must be in the loan contract details.
  11. I think Neil is good, but his sidekick is awful. When you actually Google who he is it's no surprise he's awful.
  12. I mean Elliot has been decidedly poor too - he never seems to face criticism.
  13. I do when we're at home, usually. I just find it fun / interesting to listen to other teams' commentators and get a feeling for how the rest of the league sees us.
  14. If he's going to experiment with the front line I'd love to see Brereton get a few games playing centrally.
  15. The QPR commentators on iFollow are BY FAR the best I've listened to all year.
  16. Maybe it's Armstrong wide left, Gallagher wide right, Elliot upfront and Rothwell behind. Now that I've seen them stood still for a goal kick.
  17. I thought the ref handled the Austin situation well, but someone's getting sent off today if he's booking Davenport for that.
  18. I think it's 4-2-3-1 with Elliot playing the Dack role behind the CF (Armstrong). Travis and Davenport sitting.
  19. I'm genuinely amazed that they didn't look to move on from him after his howlers in the playoffs cost them Premier League football last year.
  20. Gallagher plays like he's 5'10" though.
  21. The United commentators crowing finally got to me. I hate that club. At the end of the day it's one of the top youth academies in the country (I shudder to think what they spend on their Academy), supplemented by £20m imports vs a very good Academy that lives off United / City / Everton / Liverpool Academy rejects and the second tier of local young talent (that isn't snapped up by the aforementioned). From the games I've watched this season I think McBride, Pike and Thompson (didn't play today) could all step up into the First XI squad tomorrow and not look out of place - that's a huge win for us and makes the Academy worthwhile. I thought Nolan and Harlock looked decent today - I'd like to see more of them. Brennan flatters to deceive for me - I'm glad we kept hold of him when other teams were sniffing around, but I'm yet to see a great player. Tonight - once our players tired we lost our shape and United just came at us in waves. They have far more talented players, as you'd expect.
  22. It's mental, isn't it? The disparity between the haves and the have nots has never been more stark.
  23. I'm glad we've given this Sideshow Bob wannabe, Hannibal, a good kicking. Huge diver.
  24. Where's the Greek keeper btw? Eastham is doggers - let in three shots I'd have stopped.
