  1. I'm sure transfers are a group effort - they're not just going to lump him with players. That's how Man Utd work and it's a clown show. They'll scout players and bring a list of them to him - then they'll collaborate to bring in the right ones.
  2. Kamran Inayat - is that an Indian name? Oh nvm, I didn't realise Kamy was Northern Rover on twitter.
  3. "Oh you fancy yourself as a LWB do you Ryan? Not for me son. Have you ever seen Mahrez play? I reckon you're a RW."
  4. I'll be renewing - I wouldn't have done if they'd appointed someone like Pardew or Ferguson. At least they've given it a go with this guy (albeit it's a risk).
  5. We saw in January - the fans WANT to come back, you just have to give them something to believe in (and some sensible ticket prices).
  6. I actually think Gallagher would score plenty with the right service... and I'm hardly his biggest fan.
  7. Moronic bowling by New Zealand - their heads went after tea. Great win for England.
  8. Nonsense. Harwood-Bellis is quality and Tosin is a good Championship defender too (albeit I'd play him as a DM).
  9. One of them has a Champions League winners medal and it isn't Kompany.
  10. If Football Manager is anything to go by, work permits for non-internationals are a pain in the arse.
  11. It's a hell of a rebuild. Think you can have 5 loans in a matchday squad - suspect we'll lean heavily on that.
  12. He's a PL CB, Brighton would be insane to let him go.
  13. Gallagher isn't mobile? Are you kidding me? To use an americanism, he's a "first guy off the bus" athlete. (ie you send your most impressive athletes first off the bus to intimidate the opposition when you arrive at their ground). A guy that walks onto the training pitch and has the coaches sit up and take notice... until he tries to trap a ball.
  14. Bloody hell, he's called us a big club with history. Mowbray will be turning in his grave.
  15. Probably? He mistimed a slog that luckily fell between fielders. Then he slogged one into the stands for 6. Then he mistimed another slog, this time to a fielder. All in the same over. Calm bloody down - we were 150+ behind at that point.
  16. He's also a failure of a manager. That Utd team was a clown show.
  17. Whoever comes in will have to build a squad - which is a positive if he's backed and obviously a negative if he's asked to lean on the Academy to fill those holes.
  18. Unfortunately I've not been gifted with the superpower of foresight, so I didn't realise at the time those were our only two options.
  19. My mum said that - she's renewed with my dad. "You said you wouldn't go back if Mowbray is still there... you didn't qualify that you had to like the new manager". Smark alek - the seat next to them will be empty if they hire dross like Woodgate or Ferguson.
  20. It's interesting how opinions differ - I think Saka and Mount are very good players. I think Grealish is a duffer.
  21. It is when England are just using it as a series of friendlies. This is the third different starting XI Southgate has picked.
