We shouldn't sell, at least not until we have a replacement. Benni is our only proven goalscorer! We may well need him during our relegation battle this season.

[Archived] Mark Hughes - Good Choice ?
Dan replied to Ste B's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
This whole thing has made me sick. I always thought Hughes had more class than this. Seeing all the pictures in the paper and listening to the city fans, it's like all of a suddenly they are Barcelona. Hughes saying we didn't match his ambitions, is very annoying. If he'd have played our BEST players, in their BEST positions we may have done better. We were well on course for finishing in a Euro spot, possibly even top four. We collapsed after he got manager of the month. Even if we'd have spent £10 million I don't think we'd have done much better. The games we didn't win were more than winnable with our squad. Coventry, Larrissa, Brum away etc etc Nothing to do with the Clubs ambitions, it was HIS managerial skills. After the F.A. Cup game with Coventry, I was thinking there is something seriously wrong. Some of his choices for that game were crazy. I think we'll benefit from a change, IF we get the right man and keep the core of our team and add to it wisely. Just seems as if our poor performances is blamed on money rather than him losing the plot. -
How about launching it through the window and then going and buying yourself a macbook? You'll never look back

I was telling a Citeh fan last night in the pub that I thought Mark Hughes was the best manager we've had in all my years supporting the Rovers. I don't want him to go, but it is very worrying. The players aren't performing, whose job is it to make them perform? The Manager/Coaches. We all know we have some great players and some average-half decent ones, but they are playing like a bunch of chimps! I find it hard to think that it is just a 'blip' and all the players have struck bad form all at once. If Hughes has lost the dressing room, it's the beginning of the end for him.......

OOh that may sway me into getting one! Are they readily available yet?

[Archived] Gta:san Andreas
Dan replied to Glenn's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football Archive
There is a demo on marketplace, also. It doesn't maybe look like much from screenshots and videos, as you have to play it to appreciate it. |It is so much fun climbing building, creating massive explosions. A true sandbox game as they call them. Also has CO-OP which I personally haven't tried yet, but apparently it's great fun kicking your friend off a high building -

Fans of GTA might want to check out Crackdown which is due out on the 360 in a few weeks. -

Do you have a the Jap import? Is it easy to follow or will my complete lack of Japanese understanding ruin it for me? -
Thanks for the seasons you've put in Lucas. When you do things right, you are one the best in the Prem, when you play Rugby/Judo you are a liability. Just make sure you never forget who brought you into the big time and if you aren't suspended when we play you in march a few of those Judo throws on Benni wouldn't go a miss eh?

[Archived] Matt Derbyshire
Dan replied to Proud to be a Cobbler's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
It's nice to have him getting goals, I still think he should be slowly brought in. Benni and Nonda first choice for me, Derbyshire is useful as a sub for now. We don't want too much too soon for him, he is still young. -

Are you going to change your name back, if he re-signs? -
My gamertag is: Gamst I have GOW and PES6 that I play at the moment. I am useless at GOW though

What do these teams see that we don't? Useless they put his unwanted aggression down to Hughes? Going to Villa or Newcastle wouldn't really be a step forward, the others maybe. Can yu imagine Neill, rugby tackling attackers like he did yesterday in the Champions league?

Match of the day, whats that? Haven't watched that in ages.......tonight maybe I was working a night shift last night, haven't been to bed as went xmas shopping today, decided to stay up for Rovers. After the first half I was gonna head off to sleep, but glad I didn't! No sleep for 24 hours but I feel like partying! It is only 3 points, but it feels like 10!

............................. Speechless. How do we go from Burnley to Brazil in 15 minutes? Maybe Hughsie does it on purpose to prove himself as a good manager? We went from not passing properly, no one making runnings, giving the ball away every other pass, rubbish defending, no marking to everyone making runs, crisp passing, defenders getting stuck in and reading the game brilliantly, working as a team. Feels like we've won a cup final after that first half, Rollacaster Rovers indeed!
-
How does that work?! A reading player pretends to have a head injury when we are shooting to the goal and they get to kick the ball on a drop ball?
-
Is it me or has Lucas's passing seem like he is wacking it towards the other player, rtaher than passing it? Other goal ruled out, guess who is offside? Player 10 times better now however, passing some good moves together...
-
We can't string two passes together. This is against Reading and is without doubt one of the all time worst performances I have witnessed. Dailly and Peacock would make this lot seem bad. Lets hope it's better in the 2nd half as it has been lately, but seriously we look a lot worse than we did when we went down.
-
Repays have shown Pedersens free kick has hit with petrov's elbow, no penalty.
-
Well if they have stopped a goal from being scorded with their hand then yes it's a a red surely?
-
He has been closed down too much and hasn'y had any space to work his magic, plus with the penknife being so woefull we have been awfully short in midfield.
-
Benni off Jeffers on, Tugay off Peter on. Horse bolting stable door etc.....
-
Is Gray as bad as Peacock and Dailly were? I think so.

Where is usual? Been hunting in the shops, thus far no luck. It won't be possible most likely, there will be no edit option on the Xbox360
