Personally I can't stand people who claim that we need "pride" in our national manager. No we don't we need to win. I didn't hear anybody complaining about Sven when we won 5-1 in Germany. And when we win the World Cup in Germany, people won't complain that Sven isn't English (although they will ask why he was sacked in the first place)

The funny thing is, any Non-Blackburn fan I speak to thinks that Pedersen is our best player. I try and explain about how he goes missing in games sometimes, but nobody believes me.

Ok fair enough. So why did Keegan get sacked then? He was the motivator, the man who really knew how to motivate players. How can you say its nothing to do with Sven. Everyone said Rooney was too young, yet Sven picked him. He gets no credit for anything he does. He is the one that has picked and moulded this team over the last 5 years. Anybody who thinks his influence is merely motivating your wrong. What a coincidence that we appoint a top quality foreign manager and coincidently at the same time our whole team turns world class. Who made Rooney world class?

Yes, about as funny as sacking the manager when he has created the best team that we have had for years. It's quite good in a way though. I have always said Sven was the man for the job, and I guess we will see when the new manager comes in. We will see how "rubbish" Sven was. Remember the last time we played on German soil we won 5-1. In 2002 we were playing in 40c heat with the clocks back to front, with our captain playing with a broken foot. Beaten by Brazil (who incidentally love playing in the heat) In 2004 we were knocked out against the home team, who decided to break our best players foot early in the game. We also had a valid goal disallowed at the end of extra time. And yes, we do need a new manager because we dont play "gung-ho" enough. Give me a ****ing break

It doesnt matter anyway. Sven will win the World Cup and then everybody will be asking why on earth we decided to relieve him of his duties anyway. The next manager will have a thankless task whatever way you look at it.

Of course I would love David Dunn back. Everytime I see him play, I wish he was in a Blackburn shirt. The only reason he left was because he hated Souness. He told me in the toilet of a Leeds club that he loved the club but he was going to have to leave because of the way that Souness was running the club. He said that he could no longer work for him. So now that Souness has gone, Dunn should come back.

I thought broken records went out with the advent of CD. Let's face our World Cup chances are ruined and its because of our media. His position has been made untenable because he was stitched up. I doubt the players even batted an eyelid. I feel really sick about this, we had something good and now its been ruined. After Sven has gone we will remember what its like not to have a world class manager. At least now when we get to the world cups (easily) we are respected by every team in the world. It wasnt like that when messrs Hoddle/Keegan etc. were in charge.
