  1. Surely they don't need to overturn that debt. Roman has easily enough money to cover any losses.
  2. I also believe A.Cole is a great left back, and I believe he is a nice guy to boot.
  3. You can already do that on PES5 (not online, but in single player) And I do remember Libero Grande
  4. October the 6th is the date its due to be released on Xbox 360. I can't wait!
  5. I would be surprised if McBride can remember anything after that incident.
  6. The only thing I remember about him was one of his vibrant multicolour jerseys. Those were the days (and I was only about 10)
  7. They are a bit like we were if anything. Because although they do have all the money they haven't been able to attract the top names which they would have liked. Which was like the position we were in all those years ago.
  8. I just wish people wouldn't demonise Chelsea. In one season ManYoo bought Van Niestelrooy, Veron and Barthez (I think?), and they didn't win anything. At least Chelsea spend and win!
  9. That's a bit of a silly thing to say when you consider that Real spent 50m on Zidane and 40m on Figo not too long ago.
  10. My girlfriend bought me the long sleeved away shirt for my birthday. It's one of my favourite Blackburn shirts ever (even if we did never wear it)
  11. It doesn't mean that it's ok and acceptable though does it. Diving is happens in every game but that's not acceptable. Fffing and Blinding, yeah obviously that is acceptable. But I don't think its ok to be ultra-personal and say things with the sole aim of making the player react. People say this happens at Sunday league level, would a player at Sunday league level know that the oppositions star player's mother was ill, and that he was calling her everyday, and then would he call him the "son of a terrorist whore". As I said before this could all turn out to be crap, but there is no harm in investigating and trying to find out what was said. Materazzi might admit to it.
  12. There was a speech before the England V Portugal game by both the captains about how racism is abhorrent and should be abolished from the sport. And yet we have now all decided that it is part of the game. Niceone. I have seen Zidane lash out before, but I haven't seen him get so angry over something being said to him. That's why I believe it must have been quite serious. If not, then forget everything I have said.
  13. Note to self: If I insult somebody's religion/family so much that they lash out at me, then its ok.
  14. Exactly, and maybe that his why he did react. Because if he didn't he knew that nothing would be doneabout it. Now FIFA cannot fail to act.
  15. That's the most pathetic argument I have ever heard. Muslim's feel alienated because every f****r believes they are a terrorist, and with comments like that Im not surprised. F**k it he deserved. The stupid ****ing **** ****** (remember this a football messageboard, bad language is a given)
  16. Oh niceone mate. It happens in the sunday league, so it should happen on the world stage, they are meant to be setting a good example not a bad one. If you went up to a muslim in your place of work (Zidane was in his place of work) and called them a "son of a terrorist whore", you wouldnt deserve some sort of punishment? Oh I forgot he is a rich footballer so should take it.
  17. Calling an ordinary muslim a terrorist is not racist? What planet do you live on? They messed up with Aragones and Spain, and I would hope FIFA dont mess up this time. It is racism, and FIFA are against it, and thus should do something about it.
  18. I dont think its too ridiculous. If he said something along the lines of "your the son of a terrorist whore", then that has crossed a line. People often complain that it's not only ethnic/coloured people that can be victims of racism, and if the above happened and FIFA do something about it, I would be quite happy.
  19. I didnt think it was a dive. He touched his trailing leg which got knocked into his other leg, calling him to fall over.
  20. Since when did losing on penalties with 10 men, mean that we were beaten by a better team. It only proves that we were more than a match for each other.
  21. Are you talking about Bent or Michael Ricketts of Bolton fame?
  22. Im not really delighted, I feel that with "4 up front" McClaren in charge we will in fact go backwards. O'Neill will hopefully take the reigns in a few years. I don't ever want Scolari in charge, I feel he encourages cheating.
  23. No mate, Im delighted that McClaren is in charge. It will be exactly the same
  24. He didnt "stomp" on anybody. If Rooney did "stomp" on somebodys balls, I dont think they would be getting up again to play another 60 mins of football.
