  1. Nasty cut for once, a decent excuse I guess.
  2. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24093905.blackburn-rovers-block-tomasson-speaking-media/ We don't know the details and posters are quite rightly speculating, but this looks like another all time low under these owners.
  3. I really can't muster any enthusiasm for the incoming players, they're players that have been brought in to keep us out of the relegation zone not push us towards the playoffs. All credit to the recruitment team for getting bodies in at such short notice, the Wharton deal hit a snag, the sale wasn't going through at one point, which made the incomings even more difficult to get over the line, so credit to the team for that. The sale of Wharton will go down as one of the darkest moments under these owners for me. A Blackburn lad, Rovers fan, sold at the earliest opportunity by absent owners who are now intent on squeezing every last penny we have, you do wonder whats next for the club and our billionaire owners. I'll not be going to QPR game tomorrow in protest against the owners, it won't make the slightest bit of difference, but its the only control I/we have as a fans. We need these owners out of the club, or the ground will be sold next if the academy doesn't produce, mark my words. VENKYS OUT
  4. You have to be in Gordon Cowans league to put in GC performances, Fleck isn’t and never will be.
  5. Being of a certain vintage I can't quite stretch that far TheWeasel, but I hear you brother. Unless Ewood is going into meltdown on Saturday I'll not going. This sale was avoidable, sell Diaz, sell Rothwell, sell Leniham, don't let the Blackburn lad with Rovers in his blood leave you stupid ****s.
  6. No I haven't, but I'm actually in Venkys autobiography, along with Henning Berg, Michel Salgado, Ryan Nelson, Paul Lambert and the list goes on of refusals to pay when under contract....
  7. The 2 clubs in this league with no money, he must be a blinding player!
  8. He made up the failed medical story and has a 'Mercer esq' record on transfers. Has anyone seen them both in the same room 😁
  9. 🤣 what a load of bullshit that was!
  10. The only way to protest is to follow the Reading fans model, maximum impact, maximum exposure, beamed directly into the living room in Pune and across the world. Only my opinion of course and this view is in no way the views of Brfcs and its posters.
  11. You seem surprised at that Rev? Every other fee received has also disappeared in running costs! It makes it even more criminal that Diaz, Lenihan and Rothwell were allowed to walk for free. Fees for those players and Wharton stays, but oh no, they’re as thick as a bar top.
  12. Wharton hasn't even played a full season for us yet and they're pushing the lad out of the door. The most galling thing about this is he's a Blackburn lad and a Rovers fan, I can't get past that. I think the time has come again to seriously consider not going, I spent a few years after the king rat debacle away from the club and I'm on that path again to be honest, its the only control we have as fans to withdraw matchday support. People will talk about us not being able to turn this money down, we need to cash in for the future of the club, JDT will get the money to reinvest 🤣 - We are in this situation because of these abhorrent absent owners, this isn't anything to do with the good people that support this great club. This doesn't get any better until this lot sod off. Venkys out.
  13. I stayed away from transfer thread after I saw the 2 teams with no money and the worst owners in Championship, were fighting it out for some chap playing football in Florida, who I'm led to believe its not Messi.... Whats the popular consensus Matty? We need the money even with billionaire owners? The money is going towards next season promotion push 😏 Free John Bulls at the next home game?
  14. I've spent the afternoon fuming about the inevitable sale of Wharton and expected the site to be in meltdown. The sale gets hardly a mention, has the deal fallen through already and he's staying? Or are posters just beaten at this point? VENKYS OUT
  15. How we’ve missed Dolan, JRC and Gally.
  16. How many Welsh? You can hear a pin drop.
  17. Anyone not at the game can find it on Sky chanel 965 - BBC Wales.
  18. The Magic of the FA Cup, Newport back on levels terms having been 0-2 down.
  19. Sod off you're older than that surely 😁
  20. Jack sadly passed away in 2000, those rats never bought the club until 2010, it was hardly 'getting rid asap' chaddy.
  21. Hartley took 7 wickets on debut in India and contributed over 50 runs with the bat, but yes the 196 from Pope was outstanding and swung the game in Englands favour, well deserved MoM Ollie Pope. This England team keeps on breaking records and when the 'Nay Sayers and Know Nowts' line up to criticize, they're usually shot down in double quick time, when will they learn..... Looking forward to the next test which I believe starts on Friday
  22. Man of the match award cemented in. Brilliant stuff Tom Hartley. Test match cricket at its finest here, what a game and it’s not over yet. I didn’t want the extra 30mins, I’m not sure now.
  23. Plenty of time 47er, another day to go yet, 87 looks a long way off for India 🙏
