  1. I haven’t posted a whole lot over the years on here but coming across this thread has really hit something inside me. Hope, that’s all you need as a Football fan isn’t it? I was born in 1990, just too young to remember the title winning team properly but my word had some of the best times of my life watching Souness/Hughes era. We also had some times under Jack Walker/Graeme Souness where things didn’t go to plan, but you knew there was a plan behind the scenes, a direction, something to get behind, hope… Nobody is guaranteed Premier League football, no matter how much you spend or how well the club is ran, it’s Football…I don’t think we as a fan base feel entitled to it? I think that is what Rudy Gestede feels with his ‘it isn’t 1995 anymore’ type comments, we just want hope, and the club, its supporters, staff and players to be treated with some common decency. It’s exhausting but so hard to stay away/out of touch when it’s been a part of your life since you could remember. Some of the worst and most embarrassing days I’ve witnessed at Rovers in the last 15 years but somehow a week removed from a game, something inside me wants to watch and support MY team. I’d go so far as to saying their reign has affected my passion for Football. I gave up my season ticket after we had just scraped staying up the season they took over, you could see it all coming a mile off, it took them a matter of months to poison the club, and sadly we have lost a GENERATION of fans or potential fans because of this seemingly never ending nightmare. The neglect of Ewood Park and the infrastructure of the club for 15 years is symbolic of their tenure at the club. Please, just leave.
  2. Nail on the head First half Dack was playing a striker right up against their defender and trying to make runs in behind, which he was obviously told to (JDT said we didn’t but him and Diaz made plenty just werent given the ball) does he not know Dacks strengths? He’s a number 10 who likes to push into the box, not a striker, it’s worrying he doesn’t know the game of who in my eyes is still our most gifted footballer. Thought we’d seen the back of square pegs in round holes when Mowbray left but it’s rearing it’s ugly head again, do you see Burnley playing Benson right wing back? Do you bollocks, Hedges is one of our best players and we’re crippling his abilities by asking him to do the donkey work of a wing back, opposition managers must love it. I like the manager but he needs to wise up quickly, good managers adapt to the players they have, not blindly play a style of football that the players at their disposable aren’t capable of.
  3. No I play Armstrong left or right inverted winger or winger on attack, he’s my top scorer in February in that position. He always delivers, can’t get Dack to perform though but he’s chipped in with some good assists, just not scoring anything like as much as he does IRL. I might be expecting too much too soon but see many screenshots of people who get us promoted or are in 3rd season and in the Champions League, just wonder how sometimes ?
  4. Anybody on here play Football Manager 2020? On like my 5th new save with Rovers now, cannot seem to get us up, anyone had any success? If so could you post your tactics and give me any pointers about getting the best out of specific players, especially Dack!? On my latest save can't stop drawing, and feels like the game hates me at times the amount of last minute goals conceded and inexplicable mistakes/missed chances my teams have.
  5. I loved Red Dead Redemption and was really looking forward to this one coming out. Not sure if its age or just not having as much time to play on my PS4 anymore but its so slow paced, the majority of it feels like riding around on a horse, I know the story will turn out to be amazing but it just doesn't keep me playing at the minute, found the online portion very similar, its GTA in the wild west, grinding missions to earn money to buy ridiculously overprice weapons, upgrades, items etc etc.
  6. Exactly, in fairness I think Travis seems to have an excellent attitude and finds motivation within himself which is rare in young players nowadays, its been mentioned that numerous times he has knocked on the managers door asking for game time or a loan move, others would be happy to settle for the odd sub appearance and just being involved with the first team squad.
  7. He only got his chance because his hand was forced, he could have and still could go out on loan when he's good enough to start for us. I was listening to the post match interview with BBC Radio Lancs, the reply should have been any League One manager can forget loaning him now because he's in my team!
  8. Third game I've been to this season and easily the most enjoyable because of the way we tried to play Football. I can accept sometimes we don't have the cutting edge pass, as long as we try and play in the right way, which we did today for the first time I have personally seen in a good while at Ewood. Morris, Rhodes for his goal, Jones and Williamson impressed me. Thought Kane and Goodwillie put in a good shift in the second half especially down the right hand side. Hats off to Gary Bowyer.
  9. The club DVD's are of a poor standard. No decent menu with the ability to choose matches/competition etc. Stuff like that can be done using free software.
  10. Glad we have signed him, anybody who has made it through the academy at Barcelona must have something about them. Another exciting young player on our books, only a good thing!
