    GK - NEW / Pears / Leo

RB - Brittain / New (Loan) / JRC

    LB - Pickering / NEW

    CB - Hyam / Carter / O’Riordan / Wharton / New (Mcfadz - Free)

    CM - JRC / Trondstadt / Travis / Buckley / Garrett

    Forwards - Hedges / Markanday / Siggy / Leonard

Then - SS (unlikely) / Gally (Hopefully not) / Dolan (probably not) / Telalovic (hopefully not)

So we need 4x forwards (2x wide players and 2x Strikers)

In total - 4x New permanent cash signings. (GK, LB, ST, Winger) Think Hyam and Szmod esque, Championship experience.

Then 4 loans / Free (RB, CB, ST, Winger)

Disclaimer - I am not saying we WILL do this or that we WILL spend the following amount, but after the Wharton sale, Raya cash and expected £15m for SS we SHOULD be spending £10m+ on fees this summer.

    Wharton out for the season.

    Question for the Mods..

Is there anyway we members can contribute to giving Sammie a Trophy or something similar for his special effort on behalf of BRFCS.COM?

He’ll likely win the most MOTM votes, therefore win the BRFCS Player of the Season. If that happens, usually we contact the club and let them know, ask for the players favourite charity and make a donation on behalf of BRFCS members to said charity.

Let's be honest, no one is paying any fees for Pears or Leo. They have destroyed any sort of value with the bad mistakes this season. Best we can do is just let them leave for free and get the wages off the wage bill.

I said at the time Pears value will never be as high again as it was last summer. Should have sold him and Kaminski whilst we had the chance. Nobody is paying money for Pears this summer, too many clangers.

I think it's an absolute disgrace he got sent off on Saturday.

How unprofessional from him, huge game that's must win and he's done what he's done.

Eustace needs to go along with Waggott.

I'm not sure - I think it got a very quiet and worried crowd up for it, he'd already given the HT team talk... it wouldn't surprise me if it was planned...

I found it really hard seeing Sammie potentially playing his last home game on Saturday. I stayed for the lap of honour just to give him some respect.

However, it's really hard to know what other teams and their scouts make of Sammie. Would love to read a scouting report from one of his games.

He's been playing in such a poor, fractured side - he hasn't had any assistance up front, he's scored the same breakaway goal, latching onto a through ball, over and over again. Seemingly the only type of goal we can score, and I stand by the fact that he's only scored those goals as we haven't had a striker as he's had to play further upfield.

You can't deny his workrate, his footballing brain, his nous and his passion, but I almost feel like we haven't seen any of his hold-up/linking play, as his teammates haven't been up to standard.

If he goes to another team, it won't be as a forward, so his new fans need to get accustomed to the fact he won't score 20+goals again, and cut him some slack.

I just can't hack it anymore that we're potentially watching another talent leave before we get chance to see them bed into a side.

Just on this - I thought the lap of honour was really poorly organised. The stadium announcer said stay in your seats, the players essentially did their own lap of honour, where taken off the pitch then returned to a 80% empty stadium.

Like everything it needed much better organisation. Messaging on the big screen, repeat announcements.

Whilst I’m here, when Eustace was sent off he came and sat probably 15 seats away from me. There was no plan for how he would communicate to the bench - it was utter chaos, probably a 10-15 minute period of it followed by Eustace using his personal phone to call down to someone on the bench.

Probability of each individual permutation below. 4.4% chance of relegation.
You’re saying it’s 1/20 for Leicester to beat us (95% chance) when they’re actually about 8/13 (62% chance)

But you are correct that the likelihood of relegation (4.4%) is higher than the 2 in 81 if all results were equally likely.

    Superb work!

    What message did he leave?

I doubt he reads the messageboard to be fair.

He sent us a video thanking all the fans for their support, he’ll be watching his brother as a fan and can’t wait to one day come back. It was included in a podcast episode.

I find it bizarre that some folk make things up for the sake of attention / causing chaos (like all of the above instances).

There must be better ways to spend your spare time.

If it was all made up how do you think BRFCS ended up with the first message to Rovers fans from Adam after he left? Released before the club, in fact?

“We love it when the away team bring a big following. Like Preston and Wrexham. There is really only an atmosphere when the away end is full. We want to play in front of a full house.”

    - Aynsley Pears. In that infamous meeting at the start of February.

Gallagher and Hyam were in agreement.

I'm sure they do think that - the question is whether the opposition get an increase % performance higher than our players. It's impossible to answer but my eye test tells me that when we have a big game and a huge away followings we crumble. Games against Preston, Wrexham and Newcastle for me aren't comparable - PNE was a local derby in the first half of the season (which we lost), Wrexham we where favourite's and didn't crack but ultimately where playing a L2 team and all of the pressure was on the opposition for the Newcastle game.

There's a reason playing at home is considered an advantage. The Sheff Weds players described it as a 'like a home game' and our Manager said 'a big away following has an impact but we won't use it as an excuse' (whatever that means). In my opinion there's absolutely no argument that in a potentially league-defining game giving the opposition 7K fans has a net-negative effect on our clearly poor-under-pressure players.
