  1. Watched the movie "Teeth" the other day and have to say if you like horror movies you will like this one. A very feminist twist on the horror genre. I have not had a horror movie that has made my guts freeze like this for awhile, things that make you suck air through your teeth at times. If you are male and have seen this you will know what I mean.

    Rovers Songs

QUOTE (Ste B @ Aug 8 2008, 01:18 ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One of Preston Blues songs - it was sung by about 50 or so at MyPa. Infintitely better than any of the other dross in this thread so far. Not infinitely better by any means, but Verse 2 He's combing is hair, He's parting it twice, Never had dandruff, never had lice, Santa Cruz is coming to town.
  3. I am, it is good in a deep way, nice filming and scene settings. Great acting also.
  4. Just finished "The War of Wars" by Robert Harvey It is a great pacey narrative about the struggle between France and Britain from 1789-1815. Lots of in depth facts about the people as well as the squabbles and wars. If you have ever read the Sharpe series, Mr Cornwell rates this book very highly.

  6. Blanco is a foul magnet but can turn a game make no mistake. Dwayne De Rosario I think is a very handy player, he went to San Jose Earthquakes now at Houston Dynamo. Definitely has skill and a great work ethic. A nice compilation, his goal from the halfway line is pretty good
  7. The picture is indeed of Harley Quinn. The funny thing is they will not need to cast for the part.
  8. Seems that the next villain in the franchise is leaked .
  9. I agree, when I first heard The Joker was going to be Ledger I was madder than hell. Then I watched the preview and thought be may be alright. Then I saw the movie, phenomenal acting as you said. Even if you don't like Batman you have to see the movie.
  10. To say the least, there was no chatter when people left the cinema that I was at. You would have thought that they hated it, until everyone got outside. THE best performance by and actor this year and one of the best I have seen for awhile. (Heath Ledger)
  11. Yes he also likes to bake and rescue kittens.
  12. I think the point is it will destroy the scene for people who haven't seen it. There is much more to that clip than the simple fact that the Joker kills people.
  13. From what I read of the script it will be more of low tech terminators fighting remaining humans in large numbers. The old T1000 nor Scandinavian model model liquid metal type will not be used. Focusing more on claustrophobia of underground guerilla fighting and actually giving Skynet a voice and personality. Seems like they are trying hard reboot much like Batman Begins, seems like a lot was borrowed from the Matrix 3.
  14. Agree. The new Terminator is pretty, in a strange sort of way.
  15. I couldn't agree more, I could not see Ledger in that film at all. THE best Joker possibly psychopath performance I have seen. He makes the best Bruce Wayne, I still like the Michael Keaton Batman. I wish everyone has seen it I can talk more freely.
  16. Yes it was fantastic, couldnt believe over 2 1/2 hours had passed. I have never been so creeped out by a performance ever. The magic trick part was especially enjoyable. You should go now.
  17. Just saw the preview before Dark Knight, superb looking movie. Dark Knight.... you have to watch this movie!! Joker has never been better, the actor could not have went out with a better bang. Four stars easy.
  18. Just to get you all in the mood for Dark Knight. Batman Deadend One of the finest fan films of all time.

  20. I thought this was a nightmare I used to have as a child.... until I saw it again today.
  21. Watched "Fools Gold" last night, it may have been due to drink, but I thought it was ok.
  22. To say the least!! Stephen King pulled a right twist to his short story on that one. Worth watching.
