  1. They are guaranteed success with his playing acumen.
  2. Does Mark Hughes strop about the sidelines and stare starry eyed at Man Utd saying how great a time he had there? I have stuck by McCarthy more than some but if you are pointing out that Managers are treated differently than players then you should look in a mirror as that is what you are doing here. Why not give Hughes the same benefit that you give McCarthy as this is Hughes first big slump unlike the former.
  3. Do people really advocate the removal of Mark Hughes due to the last few games. Give the man some bloody money!! Don't sack him and get some crap manager and then give him money. Just because there is some players "maybe" causing moral to slump in the dressing room and we are distracted doesn't mean fire one of the best British managers of late. Who would you rather have that is sensible? How much money would he get? Remember this is pretty much the same team from last year with the addition of a great striker. It is obviously a moral problem once that is sorted and seems to be about to with all the transfer speculation, things will turn around. Yes we are out of the cup and that hurts, I am very bothered about it but until he blows bags of money on @#/? and still get us a lower than top ten finish I will stand by him.
  4. Dawn of the Dead extended edition is THE zombie movie, nothing else comes close, even though the special effects can be faulty at times. That movie is so good that you can forgive the horrific 70's hair cuts. Night of the Living Dead is no slouch either.
  5. Speaking of which I am going there soon for my second honeymoon, looking forward to doing a "Coffee Shop" crawl. I see its not too expensive.
  6. I think Downfall was very good. Falling Down is still the best being crapped on by society movie imo.
  7. Thanks I feel more clued in now, and I agree the Axe has become duller of late.
  8. You have to admit though that cocaine is very yuppie though.
  9. I agree with you and if there is a simple correct soloution lets do that without all the terror.
  10. So the earth converts the heat thus not allowing it to escape? Then why does the volcano effect happen? Is this because the dirt thrown up by the erruption plays a part? Dont get me wrong though. I am not a "To hell with trees give me tarmack" I recycle as much as I can, I even go as far as cutting the windows out of my mail to make sure I can deposit the paper portion. I just do not trust Gore at all. I remember when I was younger people where gibbering on about global cooling. I just see this as the latest craze for Greenpeace and people out to make some serious cash with carbon credits.
  11. Just like Christians welcoming the second coming why is it that people seem to welcome the apocalypse due to the weather? Human nature trends to us hiding our heads in the sand about catastrophes, why with this weather one do people seem almost ecstatic with the prospects of worldwide desolation brought on by a warm spell? If global warming is brought on by us pumping heavy gasses into the atmosphere wouldn’t it be logic to presume that it would reflect solar heat getting to us? Wouldn’t it be like a nuclear winter effect so the earth would heat up until the latent heat dissipates and then cool down drastically? What was the estimated average temperature of the earth during the Jurassic period? Why was it so hot then when Dino wasn’t running around in a Hummer? Why did the earth cool down so quickly in the 30's and 40's? Why is it during a volcanic eruption that spews millions more units of heavy gasses into the atmosphere does an earth wide cooling take place?
  12. It doesnt sound like there is backroom grief there does it?
  13. I remember that game the first goal was a header from Gallacher and then the Sutton goal was a screamer from outside the box. Carbone's goal was a wonderstrike too. Didnt Filan break his arm in this game also? I still have this on VHS!
  14. I think you misunderstand me a little there, or I did not make myself clear. I would of course want a fully functional Benni playing for us rather than Roberts running around Savagesc. At the present time with him in a downer I would rather have Roberts trying his best. Do you understand me? I am not full of hate for Benni I just want what is best for the team.
  15. Its all true that an interested Benni is far superior to Roberts in every way, except maybe workrate. The problem is that Benni doesnt seem to give a damn and when Roberts is on the field he looks like an excited dog, snapping at people and running around after the ball. This makes him look like he wants to play and that by proxi "could score". My feeling is I would rather have Roberts WANT to score rather than Benni not give a toss and MAYBE score.

  17. He has a great prospect of a criminal record if given half the chance.
  18. I am about to change my avatar, I do not want to be confused with others.
  19. Totally different imagining of him in this one, a lot more on the comic book style, gangly and totally manically evil. I will not take anything away from the exalted Tim Burton (long may he reign) though, being that the original Batman was superb.
