Could you see Lowe scoring a goal like the opener yesterday ? He' d get a nose bleed going so far up the pitch.

    Exactly.

Smallwood is looking a very good signing at the minute. And to think certain people when he signed moaned like hell without even seeing him play

The only way to find out is by playing him.  Platt, Grayson and Charley Doyle were excellent tonight against an experienced opposition.  I can understand Mowbray wanting Downing for his experience of League One football but young Platt should be on the bench at the very least.  We have a crop of really good youngsters at the moment and my fear is that we will lose them if we don't give them an extended chance of first team football.

Ive only seen him twice. Been impress by times.

I would imagine Platt will get chance shortly if Lenihan and Mulgrew are injured. Plus Wharton seem to be injured alot recently

Cracking game at Leyland with the lads showing Mowbray that they are well worth a place in the first team squad instead of importing other club's youngsters.  The midfield trio of Tomlinson, Hardcastle and Rankin-Costello were outstanding against a very strong Wigan outfit.  Johnson and Dunny have got these lads playing some really entertaining football - so much more enjoyable than watching the tedious build up that we see at first team level.

Do you think Platt is ready for the first team this season?

Irrelevant Chaddy, this is the Ashes we're talking about in Australia, form goes out of the window.

England just declared, well done Joe Root, shows confidence in our bowling attack after a poor showing in the 1st innings, Anderson aside.

Just over 8,000 on today, that's a poor showing in my book despite the prices.

sorry but form doesn't go out of the window for me.

their top 6 is similar to ours.

The England declaration was positive and good by Root.

sorry but people will be away on holiday or have other things to pay for at this stage of the summer. Plus factor in that West Indies aren't the best team either. if it was Australia, South Africa or India the ground would be full.

Thank you parsons that's why ....this club shows that it's bent !

Excellent my backside .........let's have the Nyambe watch ?

    Why is the club bent?

Nyambe is improving as a player but still making mistakes as he will at his age.

You have an agenda against Nyambe cos of who his agent is. Last season his agent who represented only 1 or 2 signings we made.

So why the big problem with this agent? Given a report or post why you have this opinion about it

Funny how all the U-23 results show how attacking this formation can be... with the right players.

Also does this not only reflect well on Damien Johnson but also Eric Kinder?  Was he the one who restructured the team and pushed the younger ones through early?

Think is how the 3-4-2-1 formation should be played.

lets hope the 1st team can start playing this attacking style.

On Nuttall, 5 goals in 2 games is very good and lets hope he can develop enough to break into the 1st team this season.

Probably because you keep repeating yourself. We've heard it all before. You go to your matches and leave the rest of us to wallow and we'll all be happy.

Just like every Venkys thread then. We all just keep repeating the same old things.

....because you don't know when to shut up. That's all.

Oh sorry. So no opinion then

  8. Venkys do need to sell the club but that doesnt look like happening any time soon.

I think we are stuck by them until they decide to leave. Would love the 2 Ian's and their group to own the club but they dont recieve any response to their calls.

Do I believe any protest will force them out? No I dont. They dont have any effect on Venkys one bit. Even if 10k did it still wouldnt bother them at all.

People have meet the Government, FA, FL, PL and nothing has happened. No rules have been broken. No one can force Venkys to sell as each football club is a private business.

Stop taking the thread off topic you troll.

why are getting involve in conversations that don't need to?

Suggest you look back at who took it off topic first but you wont criticise Stuart as he is follow protestor whilst I am not. funny which side you always agree on

Much like everything else about our decline.

By and large, fans have been more than happy to accept our lower grade status at each drop in quality, stature and division.

Rovers fans have been so disappointing when it comes to taking any affirmative action and have instead accepted, nay cemented, our fate. The excuses to ease consciences are nearly as galling as the excuses for inaction.

But don't confront it any more, because that's just 'willy waving'.

Have you renew your season ticket for this season and are you protesting today?

what affirmative action do you want to see Rovers fans do?

what protest has had a any impact on forcing Venkys out of owning Blackburn Rovers?
