Where i stand. Wagner was giving squad players the chance to get some match sharpness. As managers always say, its a squad game. Imagine if they picked up one or two injuries how do you expect their backup players to get match sharpness?

at Forest we played the same system as yesterday but we Nyambe as the right centre back of a 3 man centre back with Mahoney as the right wing back 1st half and Bennett as the wing back 2nd half.

Mowbray has been 13 games not 15 games. in that time we have pick up 16 points. so over a season that would keep us up.

I like Mowbray's comments and his honest to the players. This isn't his squad and in the summer we will see major changes so that Mowbray can play the style of play football he wants and play more attacking. Lets not forget that the Fitness of this squad is poor so that's probably why Mowbray has had to change tactics and style. Plus injuries to key players. He has said that Ward cant play in a 2 man centre back line so that's why we have played 3 at the back and we have keep conceding too many goals.

Mowbray would not have been in the lists of any other Championship club. There is no pride and little in being a Rovers fan any more. We just have to sit down, shut up and accept what we are given.

I don't want a good guy who'll do his best. We had that with Bowyer and to an extent with Coyle (albeit more annoyingly). I want a ruthless barsteward who won't pick people just because they are the longest serving or highest paid. Absolutely must pick a leader as captain and ditch Lowe as a utility sub. If he does that on Friday he'll start to earn my respect. Equally, Lowe as captain in the centre of midfield by the next home game and my mind will be all but made up: another stooge.

Two targets: first is three points on Friday and second is keeping us up.

After that, well, let's just hope there's an 'after that'.

Agree completely but there are too many people that are prepared to put up with whatever venkys put in front of them. Why should we be happy with this appointment just because hes got the job? There were plenty of better options out there and now senior will be sitting in his office with a smug look on his face believing the pressure is off him.  I really do despair with rovers fans sometimes.
