Aye I went there the other day with my missus. Absolutely awesome!! 3 courses for £15!! I currently live in Ambleside as I'm a student at uni there. Zefferelis is excellent also, vegetarian place but amazing. Dodds is a nice Italian restaurant and reasonable pricing. All the Lucy places are expensive but Lucy 4's which is a Tapas place is very good food and atmosphere. Lucy on a Plate I think the service is rubbish there. The Priest Hole is also very good. Anyone ever in Ambleside give us a shout!!
