  1. I think that I might be responsible for starting the Maddison rumours. However, since then a lot of people on here have sort of agreed with me.
  2. He has played at times as a striker, but it is not his primary role.
  3. Probably. But I would rather have Maddison. I think that he could create lots of chances for our team. Marriott benefited big time.
  4. Do you think that means a deal between the clubs is agreed and it is now down to Maddison agreeing his pay?
  5. It was from a Leeds fan, but maybe he didn’t confirm it was actually from them. However he did say that there had been new bids in.
  6. Yes the chairman admitted that in the last 48 hours that Leeds have made bids for both Maddison and Marriott.
  7. Yes but he isn’t very good in the air for somebody so tall.
  8. I have asked:- Peterborough chairman 3 times, Richard Sharpe twice and Nixon twice about Maddison sand none have replied!!
  9. I think a 15 goal a season striker would cost a lot more than £2.5M. I think Maddison scored 12 goals and had 23 assists in 2017-18!! That would be a pretty good return for £2.5M.
  10. Keep the dream alive you never know. It all depends on highly Tony rates him. He could see him as a major catalyst to make things happen, in which case he may think £2.5M is a price worth paying. Until he has gone somewhere else I will keep wishing and hoping.
  11. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/07/10/do-west-brom-among-bookies-favourites-to-sign-peterboroughs-marc/ Maybe it's not us, although it has been reported that 2 championship clubs have met his release clause of £2.5M - Us and West Brom? The bookies clearly don't think it is us.
  12. Hi do you have any idea what the fee is likely to be? I am sure that the Peterborough chairman in one of his tweets mentioned a £2.5 release clause payable in one lump sum and yet somebody is quoting him as saying it is "£1M ish". Do you know the answer?
  13. Yes I did the same last week with no reply, so hopefully it might be us, especially as he will be aware that Rovers like to negotiate secretly until the deal is done.
  14. If it is a season long loan it would be good as he is in his last year of his contract and would be a free agent at the end of the loan. Fee to pay though because of his age. I can understand Mowbray being cautious with him after such a very bad injury. Good idea not to risk a fee to buy him until he has proven himself fit.
  15. Yes and he was injured when we played them at Ewood, so not much to go off. If you watch his YouTube videos he has a wand of a left foot.
  16. On twitter somebody said that with the loan fee he was costing about £40k per week.
  17. I think an “inverted winger” is a winger who plays in the middle of the park.
  18. Yes I’m following him just in case he gives something away. First thing I thought when he mentioned instalments that it could be us, but can’t see us paying £2.5M for him.
