  1. Is there only Rhodes and Dunn in our team that have their own chants these days?
  2. Sukhis is very good and the hospitality is superb to boot not tried it since the change though
  3. Never had a bad meal at Shajan, always go I'm decent numbers and the only issue has been how busy its been and had to wait in the bar which isn't a worry The sundries are superb as well the garlic Naans and the chips are beautiful and every curry I've tried there has been brilliant
  4. I've said it before in this very thread and ill say it again if you don't like the subject matter you don't have to discuss it, plenty of people enjoy different things yet refrain from going around calling people for liking something they don't Insulting people and trolling the subject matter won't be tolerated and will result in posting bans
  5. Last I heard Mellison was they was talk of HHH v Stone Cold which would just be awful Punk / Stone Cold may be poor but the feud would be perfect it writes itself especially with the picture of child Punk with Stone Cold, he could say he was his idol but after meeting him decided that straightedge was the only way
  6. Extremely sad news I knew of John without knowing him but never knew he was bypass on here I'm sure pictures of him in that mask will be used for some time Rest in peace John
  7. Saw Monsters University today and thought it was great It could have been a story by numbers but a lot of cliches were swerved, some great gags and nods to the original as well
  8. People bet on snow on Christmas Day, horses running in circles, random spins of a wheel and what colour hat the queen will wear at a wedding Why not bet on something you enjoy? Sure the outcome is pre determined by the writers but it's not often common knowledge as such
  9. It reminds me of the time Pedro Mendes lobbed Roy Carroll who fumbled it 3 feet over the line then carried on as if he had stopped it - and got away with it
  10. Next person to make it personal will take the rest of the ashes off If you don't like what someone has to say then put them on ignore, note that trolling is also against the rules so be careful blue and white
  11. Oh wow that's not good Cook, Root and Pieterson all gone 28/3
  12. That's it! Nothing if not entertaining! Great stuff
  13. Yep that was always going to come back to bite me wasn't it!
  14. All out Australia need 311 to win, can't see it but wouldn't write it off A couple of those wickets seemed really cheaply given away
  15. Having shown Ian Bell's wife it's fair to say he's batting above his average
  16. 'You cannot be a true competitor either - a competitor wants to win every time and then grind his opponent into the dirt.'Just messing Jim, sportsmanship is a virtue but that was too obvious to resist a cheap one
  17. One thing about having cricket on in the background is the commentary is so much more enjoyable than football punditry Because of the slower nature of the play Bumble tends to ramble on which is great and I like listening to Michael Holding
  18. I should care more about cricket by all accounts, my dad was involved with Rishton CC for some time and used to spend Sundays there often, my sister got to go in Viv Richards Helicopter when he famously landed on the field Anyway back to the topic at hand I take it tickets would be refundable if you had booked for the Saturday and it didnt get that far?
  19. Thanks for a reasoned response without resorting to personal comments Bryan I totally understand that and can relate because when it comes to football I am the same its just when it extends to other sports I am more a casual observer (shame really as this summer has had plenty of sport and so far plenty of success for Britain - long may that continue)
  20. Don't tell me what I can and can't be just because I don't particularly care for a sport to the extent of being invested in itI'm still allowed to watch and comment on it
  21. I stand by my original viewpoint I don't have any passion for the game for which I don't apologise in the slightest but it goes without saying I want us to win (By the way we know the script is written now and we will win by 1 or 2 runs just to prove a point!)
  22. I don't care enough about cricket to care either way (i'm the kind of fan abbey hates) if he was to get 98 then 2 more wouldn't have broke the camels back I obviously want England to win but enjoy the spectacle of it as much as anything else and have no real emotional investment as I do with football
