[Archived] News Article -> Mowbray Resigned to Losing Mahoney

Some of those hits are generous Lawrence didn't do much and Steele has been one of the worst keepers in the league consistently. Not sure Evans has been value for money either. -

[Archived] News Article -> Mowbray Resigned to Losing Mahoney

Shame to see him go but he's been very hit and miss and is hardly 17 / 18, we failed him by not having him out on loan, those early years can be great development in roughing players up. His naivety could have cost us dearly against PNE before Gallagher did and he was the worst player on the pitch against Bristol. I think he will make a decent championship player in time though and we'd be a stronger squad for having him in it. At this point though he's looked like a decent substitute agaisnt tired legs -
You love it

We're going to need a deeper hole!

Is this now next years thread?
-
Thanks Tony you gave us hope but the job was too big after Coyles tenure. He has to stay but fear he will take the blame and walk
-
I do feel for Mowbray he's got a couple of things wrong but we would have been comfy over a season with him over Coyle. Its going to be horrible seeing Arry lauded as a genius when he was handed survival on a plate by Huddersfield

I miss US Netflix

Great for fans overseas but a shame that those on these shores can't have the same option for away games etc but totally understand why that can't happen
-
Sorry I wasn't indicated that you had said otherwise or at least didn't intend to I just think an ongoing thing has been the players not giving a damn but continuing to get off lightly because there are bigger enemies. Full support from the off but let's see what happens should it go bad

Are we allowed to boo when we go down?
-
Bored of going through all the permutations in my mind now, can it not be Saturday already and let's just get it done with?
-
Dysfunctional I could deal with it's the total lack of urgency that hurts.
-
The picture now is that we can take it to the final day if we win, it would have been different if Brum won. It gets worse and worse but for now there's still a chance even though there shouldn't be and we really don't deserve to have a hope left

Worry for the good folk at Ewood when this is confirmed. I think a lot of people who have done nothing wrong will find themselves out of work. Is the community trust currently funded by the club?

Down down deeper and down!
-
However much we play with all the possibilities we are the favourites to go down. In a typically fence sitting move I think we are down BUT I think if we beat Wolves we will survive.
-
Spoke to a QPR fan this morning that thinks it will seal Brums relegation. I think he would fail in the long term but do enough over 3 games as I think they only need a point.
-
I think he meant for us!

That's a funny way to spell Alex Neil

I think that's another nail in our coffin and just enough to see them squeeze through. Our problem is nobody cares, the loanees will go back to their clubs, out of contract guys will bugger off, the rest will carry on being paid either way.

Howay the tractor guys! Boing boing! Marching on together or something! massive couple of results today leaves us with a couple of teams we can catch.

Burton got a goal back and a few minutes to draw level - twitchy bum time
