TGH is looking good. A couple of lovely passes and aggressive in his general play.

Brilliant win but disagree about Kargbo. He has blistering pace and is an excellent option with 10/15 mins left in a game. He will serve a purpose this season. Very very happy.

Up yesterday I was happy with the signings. Not having a quality CB ready and waiting is nothing short of a disgrace. Best we can hope for is a temporary CB.

His hold up play looks impressive and the goals at international level suggest he has something. Im actually really excited by this signing and with decent delivery we may finally have someone who can head some goals in!

Scored 19 in 36 the season before in the Dutch top flight. Clearly lots happening in the background- let’s see who we get.

Last season he played 32 times for a German Top league club, that’s impressive and at 28 should be hitting his peak.

He had one year left on his deal so essentially the new two year deal incorporates the one year loan and if it doesn’t work out his club is covered- sensible all round. Right winger is a must! I have a feeling we will sign a loan striker too

Hedges has done a lot of defensive work which I think is appreciated by his managers. My fav player is quickly becoming Ryan A at RB, love his dogged nature.

The issue is that the players who have moved clubs are on ‘big money’, meaning over 15k a week. I guarantee that the players that we have signed this summer are getting paid less than 10k a week- that’s our market. I actually think we will have a reasonable season finishing mid table with the squad we have. The biggest worry is the number of players with championship experience who are leaving- When Wrexham can spend 10 million on a 28 year old striker it shows we can never compete with the owners that we have 😞

Lots of youth starting and some mistakes made- have faith we will win this.

we have about half a first 11 that did not start at the beginning of last season- this is a massive shift. I predict results will pick up by September as the new players will take at least a month to get to speed. i think we all know Travis leaving but what’s imperative is that we sign a player with Championship experience. We need a RW and a proper number 9 up front.

750k rising to 1.5 million- outstanding deal imo. Well worth a risk and is sadly the market we are in. When you look at how much English players are going for in league 1/2 we cannot afford to buy anyone 😞

Mercer was correct then- he said we had a winger in the building this week and sounds like it with IVs comments.

Beck is a good player however if he was that good he would be on loan to a PL team right now, not playing for a team that almost got relegated from the championship last season. I would rather have our own players that we can develop. I would be worried if I was Derby, two players on one year deals and a on loan left back, not forgetting a striker who is out for a few months already! If this was us the MB would be in meltdown!

Sell all three if they don’t sign contracts. We lost three players on a free before and I’d rather get some money than lose them on a free- especially Brittain- everything that is wrong with modern football in a nutshell.

For a little balance, he also was CEO when they went from league 1 to championship. Decent CV, Director of Operations at Liverpool. From my recollection it was the owner who wanted Rooney. Talking of the academy, we also poach from other ‘smaller’ clubs and it’s the way of the world. Very disappointing but it’s how the football food chain works 😞

Hyam- excellent defender who has proven his worth over a number of years- who would you replace him with? Are there many seasoned championship CBs available on a free? Hyam and Batth would be my first choice pairing. I’m pleased to hear that pace is top of the list for attributes they are looking for in players. I think Gueye up front with Ohashi and another wide player with pace would be ideal. I think Kargbo will be a key asset next year- again some harsh comments on him, he has been injured and only came back a few games ago. I may be one of a few on here but I like what Ismail has done in the last 6 games and with a proper pre season I’m optimistic of another decent season with the possibility of a play off place. Venkys are the root cause of where we are, I wish they would sell us and let us be run like a normal club.
