Brilliant interview imo. He isn’t fazed by it but I love the last line- ‘it won’t happen again’ in reference to Callum refusing to play.

Sell all three if they don’t sign contracts.
We lost three players on a free before and I’d rather get some money than lose them on a free- especially Brittain- everything that is wrong with modern football in a nutshell.

Credit to Mercer- he stated two signings and Brittain signing a new deal before our first game!

Do you have to be 30+ to sign for Eustace?
And this would be my massive issue with Eustace, it’s short term thinking and we cannot survive on this model. I’m actually excited by the pace and power that appears to be coming into the side!

Just what the feck is the point of our academy if all we are going to do is sell any gems we unearth before the fans have even had opportunity to see them grace the blue and white shirt?!
Not interested in, IMO, shite like Buckley and JRC but I do want to see the likes of Dunn, Jones, Wharton etc
Sounds like a Rovers' appointment! Just why the feck do we want a CEO who thought Rooney was a good appointment just months after his Brum disaster. I think we really are owned and run by muppets.
For a little balance, he also was CEO when they went from league 1 to championship. Decent CV, Director of Operations at Liverpool. From my recollection it was the owner who wanted Rooney.
Talking of the academy, we also poach from other ‘smaller’ clubs and it’s the way of the world. Very disappointing but it’s how the football food chain works 😞

Hyam- excellent defender who has proven his worth over a number of years- who would you replace him with? Are there many seasoned championship CBs available on a free?
Hyam and Batth would be my first choice pairing.
I’m pleased to hear that pace is top of the list for attributes they are looking for in players. I think Gueye up front with Ohashi and another wide player with pace would be ideal. I think Kargbo will be a key asset next year- again some harsh comments on him, he has been injured and only came back a few games ago.
I may be one of a few on here but I like what Ismail has done in the last 6 games and with a proper pre season I’m optimistic of another decent season with the possibility of a play off place.
Venkys are the root cause of where we are, I wish they would sell us and let us be run like a normal club.

I was impressed with Kargbo today, couple of times he didn’t have the desired effect forward or back but he put the yards in and snuffed out danger a few times, exciting to see someone take on a man as well and get to the byline
Dennis has played himself out of contention but with Gueye looking good and Ohashi coming back it’s nice to have options.
Sadly Cantwell looks like he’s not going to do it here
Could I also add that I am pretty certain AK and Gueye are fasting today- the energy levels are impressive when you take that into account too.

Ismail left Watford 9th- 3 points off 6th
West Brom- 5th
besiktas- 5th but four points off first
He may not be the messiah but his record isn’t as bad as some are making out!

600k plus bonuses is a decent salary for someone.
The 800k average is bloated because any relegated club will be paying at least double that for their managers.
If you are not interested in a club pushing for a play off place with a dozen games to go, then you are not backing your own ability as a manager and are not someone I want at the club. I would imagine most European managers will be on less than that, and this is where our new manager will come from.

It’s 1-0 not 10-0.
Pears was poor for that goal, but I have faith that our bench will come in handy second half!
-
Ok let’s go left field- how about Will Still at Lens? Was close to signing for Sunderland…

This Frederikson is currently top of the Polish league!
Has a very good pedigree but obviously would be high risk.

Jackson stating we should have a manager in place by our next home game. Makes sense to appoint and give the guy a few training sessions.
I honestly think it will be a left field appointment, someone we haven’t really spoke about. Was JDT mentioned or Eustace when we appointed?

Ismail I would be excited about but at this stage I’d take a punt on Duff. Being an ex Rover would definitely help!

The current Bournemouth manager's stats aren't much better than o'neil's with a win ratio of 31 percent compared to O'Neil with 29 percent having spent much more money
Where did you read that? He is like 40%, won 25/63 matches. I would be happy with O Neill, I think he is an outstanding young manager.

Dolan has been brilliant.
Kargbo has looked a threat since he came on and his first assist too! Lovely play by gueye too.

Listening to Argyle commentary and then they said Eustace was at Derby hiding in an executive box, whilst he was still our manager!

Come on where are all those people who said that Gueye wasn’t a footballer 😂
Well done, couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke!

Said it the other day, Eustace is gone. He is blaming the travel but knew that when he joined. We are top 6 at the moment and fighting for the playoffs.
Forget the manager, forget the owners, forget the management- the fans and the players deserve so much better. I hope Derby get relegated.

I disagree completely. This is all on the owners. We’ve had this now with countless managers. They are the common theme.
If a decent job came along in the industry you worked in, allowing you to flourish in your role, whilst working at a company that wasn’t appreciative of your skill set, you’d be off like a flash. We all would.
You would leave with 15 games left? Taking a club from relegation to top 6? You would back yourself, he is joining a club fighting relegation and cannot do anything in the transfer market until the summer.
Derby paying more than us too, I doubt it.
The only saving grace is that Waggott and co have chosen the last two managers and both were hits, so here’s hoping for a hatrick

Eustace has already spoken to Derby and got assurances about the transfer window in the summer.
All of this is nonsense about the owners, he already knows that he is going. This is a way to save face with the fans and ensure we focus on them and not Eustace.
He is gone already, unless something drastic happens with Derby.
Hate the owners but to leave with 15 games left is so poor.

You are the literal definition of ITK based on what you just posted.
Well I meant I have never had any info before and doubt I will again.
derby have given him assurances of being backed, that’s key.

Ok I’m not a ITK but I have some info.
It is confirmed from a family member of Eustace that he is not happy at not being backed in the transfer market, the club and owners.
he will be going sadly 😞
from my neck of the woods is Eustace so I have some links.
Again I’m definitely not ITK!

He didn’t, he said he wasn’t going to rush into getting another RB because he had bought a new signing.
