Cantwell has pace, he is not lightening quick but he is certainly quicker most of our squad! I am warming to the signing and he can also play in three or four positions so that will help too. Still need a GK, winger and an additional midfielder

I think Eustace has made it clear what he wants from any new signings now- ready made players from this league. Ruddy, Stansfield, Dembele, are all seasoned championship players. Right now we have two weeks left of the window and at the very least the Sammie money needs to be spent. However the likelihood is we will spend a million and get three loans in 😞

I’m infuriated by this interview. i am usually calm about most things but does he think that we, the fans are thick? So apparently we don’t get all the money for transfers in one go… does this not work the other way to Steve? Basic maths, Wharton 18 million, Raya 5 million, Ashley 2 million, Kaminski 2.5, Gally 1 million- I have tried to give the lowest amounts, that’s circa 28 million income. Also two of those were our highest earners in Gally and Kaminski. we have signed two strikers for max 1.5 million and everyone else is wages on top. I have ignored our goalie as we recouped all the money. So please Steve where has the 26 million gone? The owners have not funded us this season- the sales have kept us going. I do feel a lot happier with the signings, especially the unknown ones- the element of surprise is always exciting. We definitely need pace on the wings and a new gk- so let’s see what we look like next week.
