I feel much better after that performance than I did Saturday. Brereton and Armstrong up front is the way forward, get Dack in behind, and play Travis and Rothwell and one of Davenport/Evans/Johnson in the middle. 4-3-1-2. JRC was unreal in the first half, the boy can take anyone’s job. Fittest Rover I have seen in years. I like Bell, but that was shocking. Need a CB and a LB, and I think we are good. Love the academy guys starting to come through.

I agree that we don’t need a striker, we need certain players to step up. Defensive midfielder for me please and plenty of defenders

Yeah will be paying for that stream service from Blackpool. The volume on the Fleetwood stream was off my the picture was decent enough, this should be better.

Bradley Johnson was absolutely shocking for most of last season, apart from a couple of games and the second half against Cardiff, when it looked like he came out of the changing rooms on drugs. Wouldn't have him anywhere near the first team.

I’m read to see Buckley step up a bit and be more involved. He flashes sheer quality now and again. Butterworth another I hope gets some playing time in the friendlies, hope the injury hasn’t slowed him down too much. Would great if Rovers could sort out a video link for the game next week.

This ^^ Travis on the right, Rothwell on the left, and some kind of hideous beast that we let out of a cage right before each game, in the middle of the park. Plenty of depth in midfield with Holtby, Evans, Buckley and Davenport. Dacky in behind Armstrong and either Gally, Breo or a Newbie. Defense and GK situation is shambolic.

At this point I’d rather just know for sure if we are skint so I can lower my expectations. I really think we are three signings and two loans away from being a top side in this league, baring no sales. But we have been here before, a lot, teetering on the brink. If we are skint, and have to rely on the academy then that’s fine, I’ll support that as its the only other alternative route to going for it. If that’s the case then Mowbray oot, and Johnson in.

Bell was okay this year and played well in quite a few games, the Sheff Wed away I seem to remember in particular. We all agree we need a first choice LB, but as a back-up Bell is fine.

New striker name: Tarem Moffi plays for KV Kortrijk in Belgium. Absolute unit of a boy, only 21. Been rumoured to Rangers with a 4.5m price tag, which is probably a touch too much. Would imagine he will be on the move this summer, and we definitely should be looking at DG and DS.

If the budget is decent would be going straight back to city asking for another year of Tosin. Get Brad Smith for left back, Phillips for GK and Sam Morsy for an enforcer and we will be a lot better.

Would be absolutely perfect player for us, you always need someone in the middle of the park kicking people. Travis-Morsy-Rothwell ----------Dack------------ Brereton----Armstrong

You have to have had a great season if your a goalkeeper and won player of the season for a relegated team.
