Pretty even game, we are quicker and they are stronger. Need some better movement from the front three. Need some luck too. Have you ever seen a more miserable footballer than Armstrong? Always looks furious. Might need some counseling or something. Cheer up FFS -

No Buckley or Ayala for Under 23s, will be in the 18. -
It sounds like Dack could be training over the international break, that would be terrific news. I agree, to coin a Mowbray phrase, might not be a bad idea to keep the powder dry till January. Absolutely need a GK and LB by deadline though.

I think we will be too much for them the way we are playing. -
Would be an incredible signing

Yeah that was a cracking game, that was the second half Bradley Johnson superhuman game. Out of nowhere -
I thought he looked excellent. Cracking finishes. He looks more of a classic number 9 than Vale or Butterworth.

I always thought Joao was a quality player. Inconsistant as hell though -
Would be a terrific move for the lad. Hope he goes there.

First things first, he is a unit and half, absolute man child. Thought he was pretty good overall without much pressure on him, made a mistake but was okay. Definitely don’t think he is anywhere ready for first team. Needs a few years at this level for me.

Absolutely dominated them for the first and last 30 mins. McBride looks fantastic, impressed with Thompson and Pike, Pike maybe just first half. Annesley rarely troubled and has some great attributes. No one was close to Ayala all game so that was perfect. Davenport done okay but think he needs a loan out.

I just watched the most cringeworthy commercial with Jamie Vardy talking to his Thai penpal. Don’t think I can unwatch that
-
John McGinn is absolutely sensational, another one that got away.
-
Excellent, day off the work here. Will be tuning into that. Cheers

How many times have teams been in for Josh King this summer, someone hurry up and bite the bullet!
-
I think it’s Rothwell
-
Don’t think anyone is banking on anything here, just that the team we see before us is much improved. Everything has sped up and we are pressing high up constantly. It’s absolutely fantastic to watch. If you can’t get excited about it, what’s the point?

So that team yesterday still has Ayala, Travis and Dack to come in. Arguably the best three players at the club. That is insane. We also have Buckley who is def ready to play a role, and Gallagher who has been poor but will still be useful off the bench you hope. Folk on here saying yeah but Wycombe and Darby are relegation fodder. These are the exact teams that we have not put away in the past. We also played Newcastle and Bournemouth off the park. Anyone who has watched Rovers consistently over the past few years, like every game, will tell you this is the best Rovers side: formation and personnel wise that we have had since we came down. Loans it is which is fine. Left back and GK please. Everyone played well yesterday, but Rothwell and Brereton have really stepped up a level this season. Breretons touch at times yesterday was immense.

Should be 5 or 6
-
What on earth is Lenihan doing that for-when it’s 3 vs 1.
-
Absolutely, never been this close.
-
The midfield three have been absolutely sensational
-
Jozwiak is the only one that looks remotely good enough in this Derby team.
-
Rothwell and Brereton, both are playing really well for us.
-
Poor side from Derby
