How much is Tosin on a week at City? How much is Morsy on a week at Wigan? Will accept FM answers

McKenna is a lummox, don’t get me wrong I don’t mind a lummoxy type of Centre half, like a Hanley, but Tony isn’t looking for that. McKenna would cost millions, and if we are talking about that much we should be after Tosin. Sounds like Tony has maybe 3/4 million transfer budget but is being capped at maybe 15k a week in wages. A self inflicted salary cap makes sense, I like it, especially with the academy. However it really makes zero sense to be in this position after blowing our wad on the fearsome two, to the tune of 12m. I do think Waggot is hinting that the funds would be made available for a marquee signing if we find someone suitable within wage budget.

An attacking midfielder is last, on a very long list of squad needs for me.

Fine with that, we have Buckley. If we are adding another midfielder it shouldn’t be a fancy dan it should be an animal like Morsy. Who else they got heading out on loan?

I prefer the Levitt guy that plays a little deeper, has a bit more grit about him. Garner looks a lot like Rothwell.

So basically what we paid for Tosin last year? If that deal is still on the table this year for Tosin then we should do it again. Find a left back from some corner of this earth and I think we have a chance at top 6. I guess if we were genuinely in for Mawson, then its clear we are trying for the A list players first. Mawson and Kipre are quality signings I would have been thrilled with.

Don’t trust Bell enough even after a good performance at weekend. Can switch it round and have Williams in the middle and JRC at left back if you want. Nyambe to partner Lenihan in the middle and JRC in at RB. Up and down the touchline son. Travis-Holtby-Rothwell is the Balance I want to see in midfield, and Buckley looks shear quality and needs a run in the side. Brereton and Armstrong running the sideline game.

Yeah it’s really not to much to ask for is it. I agree the squad has a good chance at top 6 if the proper couple of additions are made at the back. Starting to think Tony might be thinking we have a chance at getting Tosin back if we hang on.

Buckley was absolute quality when he came on, needs to be starting and given an extended period of time instead of the that waster Johnson. Rothwell played well when he came on too. We are we well stocked in Centre midfield. Where has Magloire been all preseason, comfortably better than Carter or Wharton. Bell and Williams were both excellent. Holtby our best player overall by a mile, I like having him deeper in midfield. For a last match of preseason, that was excellent from us.

Nyambe needs to calm down, will get a move to Leicester if he keeps up his first half performance. Ive just seen the worst ever pass from Johnson.

I don’t give a shit if Armstrong throws a fit. He should be wide left and Brereton should be up front. Brereton should not be asked to defend ever. Holtby sticking out for us like a sore thumb.

I really hope Tosin is available for loan again. That would be ideal, never getting a game at city. See the two young Centre midfielders at Man Utd are being looked at by Championship clubs Garner and Levitt. Levitt looks a bit more of the dogged type we are looking for. I think sticking Nyambe in with Lenihan and putting JRC at Right back might be the best option for the Bournemouth game. With Williams or Bell at Left back.

Why are we wasting time looking for a right back? We have Nyambe, JRC and Bennett at a push, also got the young lad Pike i think that looked decent vs Bpool.
