JRC is a very good young player, and all rounder. Think he is very overrated on here though. If Ryan is fit he should be first name on the team sheet for me. Mental stuff, and it all points to a contract being rejected.

Yeah, this is the balance we are close to having, the squad has been trimmed and there is a great opportunity now for the academy guys to make the break through. Vale, Butterworth, Carter, Magloire, Mols, Brennan, Thompson, Pike, the list goes on. All with a chance to get into the squad this year. The under 23s just beat the Man City equivalent, be great to see more coming through. Buckley was unreal on Saturday when he came on and looks the pick off the bunch. But.... We absolutely need a quality Left-Back, and Ryan Manning would be a terrific signing, at a great age, cracking left foot. A no brainer. Last year of deal, so you would think it wouldn't be that much. See he is Irish as well, nice with Lenihan and Williams back there. We need back up goalie. I am fine with no other business.

Really nice having Buckley waiting in the wings. Run the same team that started on Saturday, hopefully Ayala and....Manning make the bench.

Perfectly possible we met with Manning on Thursday and agreed a deal, and now QPR and/or agents are being dinks about the price.

So we have played the easiest and hardest fixtures of the season in the first two games. We were much closer to Bournemouth than Wycombe, if that’s any indicator to future fortunes. Got to give a shout out to Brad Johnson, I’m usually pelting the guy, but he had a cracking game today. Joe Rothwell was outstanding in midfield, harshly subbed but whatever. Amazing run in the first half where he travelled 40yards in about 2secs, Wycombe had no idea what to do with him.

I think Armstrong has added another 5m to his value already this season. And Dolan is a gift from the gods, he is valuable already. Potential Cashback on Raya, and the long awaited Josh King money hopefully. We have added to asset column, and should have some unexpected revenue shortly. I really think this team is close to being top 6 material. Sign Manning, and loan a GK and quality CM from somewhere. If there is ever a time to go for it Venkys, this is it.

Anyone that doesn’t rate Rothwell is out of their mind. Finally playing in his best position. Just a brilliant performance so far, even Johnson has done some good things.
