Mowbray was back to his old tricks but Nyambe and Travis are back for Monday.They will be back in the side. Brererto missing is a blow.But when he was scoring earlier in the season we were outside the playoffs.The change in defence has us where we are now. My point is...Boro are not a freescoring side...31 goals this season with a top scorer with 6 goals is testament to that.It will be a close game but imo they don't have the quality in attack that our defence should be scared of.I do not think we will lose tomorrow night.

I don't have the answer to that.I just stated a fact this cycle Armstrong and training ground paid for we spent decently for a club with our external income with only 3 million recieved from Raya in that time. Profit on Armstrong was roughly 10 million...Raya 5....and the training ground only 6 or 7 mill of that 16.6 is counted as profit

Last time we spent 14 million on Brererton , Gallagher and Armstrong.And more on all the other players brought in. Spend has been minimal since. We also lost a decent wedge of what we pay out in wages when the older players had Ran out of contract

Wary is fine.Im not disputing it will be a tough match.I take issue with saying things like we don't have a chance, Boro will definitely win etc.Our performances since Fulham deserve more respect than that. In previous seasons we didn't have a good defence.Missing Nyambe ,Pickering and Travis was going to cause us an issue.With Nyambe and Travis back in I do not believe that we will give up as many chances as we did against Hull, especially when Boro have been winning their games by a 1 goal margin.

Who have won one more game than us in those 6. If it was Huddersfield we were playing would you be writing us off aswell as their record in the last 6 is similar? Boro last 2 league matches they needed 90+minute winner.Turning it around at home to Reading with goals at 84 and 90+.Blackpool 94th minute. Yesterday you compared their run to ours which I disagree with.They been conceding and leaving it late plus easier games in their run than we had. Missing a couple of players and a few below par performances only 1 lost by us doesn't make Boro unbeatable imo. It is not common sense to believe Boro have the 3 points tied up without a ball being kicked.

Ok if you want to believe and treat Boro like Man City and have already lost the game that is up to you. It was a blow but anyone who was thinking Markanday would come in and start scoring loads of goals etc was being optimistic. Like today on FB on the rovers group some saying we won't even make the playoffs now because he got injured and because of the form of the other teams around us.Christ we have only lost one match. We have been below par but the pitch was atrocious v Huddersfield, we still picked up a point and clean sheet.At Cardiff behind close doors we were poor but got the job done it wasn't like they were creating loads of clear cut chances and we were hanging on. The manager got it wrong v Hull, no Travis and no Nyambe and we were shit. Just some of the panic and comments after losing 1 game is unbelievable imo...like saying we don't have a chance at home against a Boro side you have 31 league goals to their name this season.(not you making these comments) Minus Brererton is a big blow but our home record is fantastic and defensively we have been superb last cpl of months, we shouldn't be fearing playing Boro.

And neither do Boro their top scorer has 6.And the two new forwards have no track record of being goalscorers at senior level.

If you take the main scorer out of any side and Brererton out of ours our goals for is comparable with the rest of the top 6 excluding Fulham. Solanke out of the Bournemouth side goals for they are 1 or 2 ahead. Boro haven't been scoring a lot of goals..the game will be tight but if we get the defensive side of our game right I think we will be celebrating 3 points on Monday night.

2 new forwards ready to go?Balagoun has played hardly any first team football and when he has featured for Arsenal he has been poor and Connolly is a handy player but not a goalscorer imo. The reason we are as high as we are in the league is down to the vast improvement of the defensive side of our game.Brererton was scoring earlier in the season and we weren't in the top 6 and Armstrong scored 28 goals last year and we finished 15th. I'm not arguing that we need another forward in but if we continue to defend as we have been doing in most the matches since Fulham we will keep ourselves in contention.

Why does it have to be Gallagher who scores.If we show the level of defending we did prior to the Hull game, then just the 1 goal could win it. Boro ain't a freescoring side
