  1. He has had bids the Ipswich manager has confirmed that. So obviously someone is willing to pay money for him this January which Roversfan found a ridiculous suggestion when Chaddy mentioned selling him.
  2. Your first post to me on this discussion was "has someone paid a fee for Gallagher?
  3. Ipswich have place multiple bids for Sam Gallagher.Ipswich manager confirmed they bid for him. Hope that clears it up?
  4. Well he quite clearly isn't clueless is he? Who was the first to report the Wharton bid? Who was the first to say we were signing Ennis? Who was the first to say we wanted 0'Riordan? Clueless to me is someone who never gets anything right.Plenty of evidence Nixon does.
  5. No but someone has bid money Rigger which Roversfan laughed at Chaddy for suggesting it. So if someone puts a cash bid in quite clearly there is someone willing to pay cash for him this January.
  6. It isn't a love in. He gets plenty right .Proven every summer that he does.Like the stuff I just mentioned above. If you don't want to believe him fine. But it's pathetic that every time someone mentions something from him ,have to listen to you with your pathetic "Nixon love in" You don't believe him, then just scroll past people it ,rather than the pathetic comments. Anyway you must be getting over shock... earlier in the season when Chaddy suggested selling Gallagher in January you said " absolutely no chance someone will pay a fee for Gallagher"
  7. Anybody watch Netflix's Griselda? Finished it last night thought it was decent.6 parter based on the true story of Griselda Blanco , the godmother of the cocaine scene in Miami
  8. It was nixon who broke the Ennis to Bolton story And the palace bid for Wharton And pretty sure he was the first with O' Riordan (I might be wrong about that 1 but not the other 2)
  9. Nixon saying Ennis deal to Bolton is more than likely off as we are asking for £500k loan fee
  10. Gallagher out of contract in the summer even if we take up the option no guarantee there will be a buyer in the summer so even if a loan I'd take Yates as he is as good if not better than Gallagher. I wouldn't sell Gallagher to be replaced by an unknown but if we can get Yates then we should take the money
  11. He probably is committed now but that won't last while we are a championship club.I don't want him sold this window and certainly not for the £18.5 million that is suggested but I do think In the summer Wharton will want to move up a level. As for Palace not being a good move...he would start there and only has to look at Eze, who signed from QPR, has had an England call up and linked with a £60 million move to Manchester City.
  12. I don't want him sold this window ,but eventually (summer) the player will want to test himself in the premier league (surely has ambitions of playing for England).Talk of £50 million is pie in the sky stuff. £25 mil -£30 mil is the absolute max a premier league club will pay for a player that doesn't play in the top division
  13. So what if Swans fans don't like Yates? Pre leaving Blackpool fans certainly didn't hate him.
  14. It's 3 years he being offered
  15. Id sell Gallagher if Yates can be brought in with the money
  16. Can't see Wharton wanting to join Chelsea. The lad wants to be playing
  17. It will probably be palace looking at someone else as Wharton too expensive
  18. Also means we won't be rushing O' Riordan. If Phillips happens that won't be a cheap loan wages wise for us
  19. When the club are valuing Wharton at £20 million plus you would have to think that his new deal has put him amongst our highest earners
  20. His net spend is the lowest of the "big six" not that I think he was entirely responsible for the ins or outs with the transfers but they sold very well aswell .Top manager
  21. He sounds positive over 3 more incomings before deadline , an experienced centre back and forward were 2 mentioned. It's in the telegraph
  22. We all know how this ends the negotiations will last till deadline day and he will complete the deal at 23:59 giving us no time to spend any of the money The club will announce Finneran has signed pro terms with Broughton signing off by saying the sale of Wharton had opened a pathway for Finneran
  23. 12 months later but presumably the money to sign Brittain ,Hyam and Szmodic came from the Armstrong sale? So about £5 million was reinvested .Not a defence of the owners btw but if it wasn't from the Armstrong sale that we bought those then it must have been owner funded as we didn't have any other sale to cover those signings
  24. I'm not doubting what your saying but odd the club renewed his contract only a few months ago if they were set on moving him on this January,as he still had 4 years to run.And presumably his contract renewal was to do with upping his money ,if the club had wanted him out in the summer and were unhappy he declined the offer to leave you would think they would have kept him on his original wage and force him to be more accepting of a move away . Or is it a case of the money men wanting to move him on but the football side Broughton etc seeing value in waiting before cashing in?
