Enjoy your days at the test match lads. I am finished with England whilst this stupid ban is in place. If I go it will be for the beer and to cheer on Australia particularly when they take Cook's wicket.
-
You can quote as many players as you like Chaddy. It doesn't make it right. It stinks and cricket in England had been dealt a body blow by men with personal grievances.
-
Let them. They are replaceable and KP is not. This when you get to the bottom of it is a purely personal thing from Andrew Strauss who fell out with him after being his friend. Strauss should resign if he can't keep his personal squabbles out of it. Pick KP and the rest would play. They won't give up international cricket because they don't like somebody.

Good post Kamy

The size of the contract is irrelevant. The point is he was told that if he gave up his contract and scored runs for a county he would be considered for England. He has kept his part of the contract/agreement and the ECB have reneged. Some trust they have showed. You can't trust them as far as you can throw them. You don't find nastier pieces of work than Wayne Rooney but nobody tries to ban him from playing for England. KP is simply the best cricketer who qualifies to play for England and the establishment don't like it. I hope they get royally stuffed by both Australia and New Zealand. If that makes me a traitor to my own country so be it.

All of which affects his ability to play cricket how? He was asked to curtail a very lucrative contract with the IPL and to join an English county to prove he could still bat, all of which he has done and now the snobs at Lords have reneged. There will be repercussions when England get stuffed by Australia and struggle against New Zealand. Serves the idiots right.
-
And my opinion too but that didn't stop you for campaigning to undermine him. Now it's KP's turn. Repeating what, has been, Strauss says doesn't prove anything nor does repeating "in my opinion" The fact remains he is by a long, long way the best batsman we have, far better than, failed captain, Cook. If your star player has an issue with an inferior player you drop that player not your best one. The stuffed shirts of the ECB choose to back the failed captain though and of course being the establishment so does Chaddy. Please don't someone come on here and accuse me of bullying Chaddy. He has stated his opinion and I do not agree with it. Live with it. South Aussie Rover has it right. The England team in Australia was dysfunctional and KP is the scapegoat. I'm finished with the England cricket team.

The cricketing snobs have closed ranks against the best player we have because he opened his mouth and said what should be said against the MCC hierarchy. This is absolutely scandalous. I might have guessed that Chaddy would again support the establishment but for what it is worth I can no longer support the England set up when this sort of thing is tolerated. From now on my cricket support is for Lancashire only. I cannot tolerate this sort of discrimination in sport. It's a shame as I used to enjoy test cricket but I can't support this bunch of snobs.
-
Maybe the club has closed ranks.

326 not out.
-
Currently 154 not out. Good call.
-
Australia will hammer that line up. Form is temporary. Class is permanent.
-
Pity really as KP is by far the best cricketer we have available. Personalities should be put to one side.
-
I see. A bit like Fogarty and Rovers when he's really a Scum glory hunter.
-
Arsenal supporting? Last time I saw him he was all over Turd Moor proclaiming everlasting loyalty to Burnley.
-
I quite like Stonyhurst but they have no proper club house. What's wrong with Bash?
-
So does his refusal to play against Lilley and Thomson. Chickened out when England needed him most. Load mouthed coward.
-
Sir Geoffrey chickened out when the Australian quickies were at their best and never gave us the explanation he promised when he retired. Loudmouthed cowardly Yorkie.
-
Yes it is. If a cyclist comes up on your blind side it is his fault. It is not even a legal requirement to have a mirror on the passenger side. The law says you have to have two mirrors one of which must be on the offside. One offside wing mirror and a central one are fine.
-
Schoolboy response. Now on ignore bye!
-
You are right Abs. Time to reset the ignore facility when the vlllage idiot starts inventing childish name calling again.
-
It's not wearing the roads it's wearing the patience and coming up along the wrong side of you that's the ball ache. Turning left at traffic lights and the bugger sets off before you and you don't know they are there. Particularly if you are driving a van. They seem oblivious to your indicator flashing. Not to mention riding through on red. (Of course you will not be one of the ones who do that. They never are!)
-
I don't know about you but road tax on my car costs me about £200 per annum. And your bike is charged?
-
Football crowds are a law unto themselves but if you walk down the middle of the road under normal circumstances the plod will soon shift you or charge you with causing an obstruction to traffic, and quite rightly so.
