  1. I enjoy a smutty joke like the rest of us but Chubby Brown is just beyond what is acceptable. He amuses the Jeremy Kyle type of audience.
  2. Made a brutal sport acceptable. He was a great man. RIP
  3. That was a bit early to be on the sauce TG wasn't it?
  4. Not me certainly and to my knowledge I have not met K-Hod. Maybe I should.
  5. Brilliant day. Really enjoyed it and good company to boot.
  6. Wouldn't mind being there but dialysis prevents. I do have a ticket for the test match at Headingley on Saturday though. Really looking forward to that. Hoping to see Joe Root bat but I'll have to take my chances on that.

  9. T20 is to test cricket what rap is to Beethoven.
  10. I'm sure you are right but how do the league make them pay up when they no longer have any control over them?
  11. Surely fines by the football league are unenforceable when the club is in the Premier League.
  12. Absolutely. T20 is an abomination. Let's get back to proper cricket.
  13. Thanks for your concern guys but I'm not even ready for a buggy yet but I'm improving slowly as I get more dialysis. Probably be next spring before I'm ready to venture forth. I even have to have a seat in the Jack Walker Lower as opposed to the Upper at the moment because I can't manage the steps. Rovers have been very accommodating though and I will not lose my original seat when I am fit enough again.
  14. Sorry guys but due to kidney problems, and dialysis, I can no longer walk around a golf course and have had to resign from the golf club. If you get enough to play I am sure they will accommodate you however and I will act as intermediary if you let me know how many will be playing. By the way I still hope to recover enough to play using a buggy at some time in the future but it will take a while.
  15. No Tom that honour goes squarely to Jack Nicklaus.
  16. Hopefully the arrogant Speith will go th same way as Tiger Woods.
  17. Yep it's infuriating. The Americans seem to think it's clever.
  18. No matter how he protests, Vinjay abandoned Rovers for City. That is unforgiveable and he has abandoned his right to lecture anybody else about disloyalty.
  19. I'm not knocking Jack but Superbikes is far from a minority sport. Bikers all over the Europe follow it avidly. You may not like it and I personally prefer F1 but don't diss it because it's not your choice.
  20. Ursula Holden Gill (Alice Dingle - mother of Samson and married to Sam Dingle in Emmerdale) was born and bred in Blackburn.
  21. Hope you don't mind my little alteration. By the way he is called Kane not Kean!
