We all know that cyclists are nothing but a bloody nuisance on the road but they are allowed by law to be there and most of them know their rights by heart and never hesitate to quote them to you. It's just something that the motorist has to put up with. Just pay your road fund tax and grin and bear it. There's nothing you can do about it.

The cars are normally moving at the same speed as each other an I rarely find that I need to overtake apart from on a motorway. Cyclists on the other hand necessarily are travelling slower and need to be overtaken. It can cause frustration if there is no opportunity due to traffic coming in the other direction. This is obviated if it is a single cyclist or single file and the overtake can be accomplished without crossing the centre line by much. Nobody wants to get too close to the cyclist so as to frighten him.

If the cyclists are two abreast as I believe they are entitled to be that means a car has to be 3 metres away from the nearside to pass them. THAT IS DANGEROUS.

I think Tom has a point though. Less supporters = less staff. It's not nice but it's a consequence of boycotting. You can't have it all ways. By the way I'm as upset as anybody about the tunnel girl. Surely she was unaffected by the size of the crowd.

There will probably be plenty of room to move to other seats if they want to but Rovers say that the pitch is visible from all of the seats but have not said what the view is like when the ball is in the air.

The "miserable gits" leave early everywhere on the ground. The only difference on the riverside is that they mostly have to walk along the front and are easily seen. If you look properly you will see folk disappearing down the tunnels in the Blackburn end, Darwen end and the JW too. Give a dog a bad name TJ and a lot will believe it.
