It sounds like one document wasnt signed but everything else was agreed and submitted. Surely they will allow it.
What if that one form is the actual contract?

Forest still have 3 deals to complete here, Shelvey being one? Maybe the delay ain't all down to us....
Shelvey sat at St James Park watching

At least Ronnie scored a goal for us. McKinnon scored an own goal so ended up leaving us owing us a bloody goal!
Fair point but both highlight how skint we were in the 80s.

Paul McKinnon was the all-time low. We're getting close though.
Arguable. Ronnie Hildersley from a club seeking re-election to the league on a free runs it close. Although Bobby Saxton signing the opponents centre forward when he went to look at Andy Mutch is a close call.

#thankyouMowbray
Spent £5m on a striker who he then put out wide cos he realised he had the first touch of a cart horse - and then extended his contract when our wage bill is clearly ridiculously tight.
The gift that keeps on giving.
No it wasnt, it was intended so that he could beat the full back in the air as they are generally worse in the air than centre back. Playing him wide showed up how bad his first touch could actually be.
Still maintain though play him down the middle with players who have the ability to cross he will get goals. He tends to struggle when he has time to think.

Just noticed that 😂. There only seemed to be one place left 😬
Maybe thats why they need Pears out the door to create room in the sticker book.

We already had Jones, if we want a central midfielder we should actively sign one, not one who can do a job there.
A better example then would be Paul Warhurst. A central defender Dalglish bought to play centre midfield

And he can’t jump either. Rarely wins a header. Thought he was back too his abysmal self yesterday.
Left with little or no protection with no Diaz back tracking....reminded me of the days when Armstrong was here playing wide

And all the time Rotherham were dropping back and getting into defensive shape.
To be fair if strikers had taken their chances at the back end of the first half this wouldnt have happened. If Diaz is to go we need someone who can take chances.

He was laboured at best yesterday . Sky said he hadn't trained much but anno domini is approaching rapidly..
To be honest I didn;t see much difference than any other Ayala preformance. He is slow and plays too deep. I still maintain Rovers play 10 yards further up the pitch when he does not play.
I know I maybe in minority but we need to replace him.

Oh no, I'm talking taking guys out off the ball / deliberately catching them as they're clearing the ball. No place for that in the game.
Yes there is if the player is playing for your team.
I agree Delap was physical against Rovers and at times overstepped but I suspect if it was Ayala putting Delap in his place it would be applauded as putting the CF in his pocket.
Football has gone soft today and its only a matter of time before contact is banned

He's also a thug - tried to leave something on a few of our players at Ewood.
There are times playing as a lone No.9 thats no bad thing. How many times do we say that SG is bullied by the defenders

Where have you got that ridiculous rumour from? Gossip aside, I would be flabbergasted if Dortmund bid £20m for Tyler Morton this summer.
There was a media story in Nov or Dec that he was either wanted by Dortmund or being offered to Dortmund in part of a package for Bellingham

We've had some incredible strikers over the years. Going back 30 years, and yes some were past their prime but shearer, yorke Sutton, Cole, Fowler, Bellamy, dahlin, sukur, roque santa cruz, Mccarthy, Gallagher. Now we have players like hirst and Sam Gallagher
The players you mention were premiership not the league lower. To be fair you need compare with the likes of Rhodes and Garner. You can also include Newell , Jansen and of course Speedie. In the same breath there were seasons in the 2nd division we had Tony Diamond and Shaun Curry up front.
Also to mention Dahlin who was nothing but a Crock.

We bid £1.8m for Dembele....
I thought that was from the fee we would have got if we sold Rothwell, once Venky's overturned the decision to sell Rothwell I thought we pulled out of signing Dembele. I maybe wrong though

You think Garrett and A.Wharton are on a similar level?
One is more technical and one is more physical as I say both have much to learn. Wharton has the potential to play at the higher level though

Few seasons back I thought Travis could be a PL player and the sky was the limit. Brought a mate to a game few years back and he picked him out of everyone and said he was a player. He was strong, neat, covered every blade of grass, dribbled well, drove forward and supported the play...seems an age ago. Disappointing.
The one thing he has always lacked is pace in foot and mind. Maybe the likes of Evans made him look better than he is

Yeah seems the manager is trying to send some sort of message. He's miles ahead of Garrett. Baffling.
Disagree, they both have strengths and weaknesses. Combine them then we have a player. Hopefully time will develop their weaknesses.

Hirst not in todays squad.......hopefully a positive sign

The same Dolan who basically got us 3 valuable points at Norwich ?
Same Dolan who has come on several times this season to defend from the front and run himself into the ground to help guard a lead.
Same Dolan who cost nothing is still a young player and has numerous assists and goals here ?
Some headless chicken that, in reality he's is one of the most useful members of the squad here.
He has value but by running around which can be effective, Im not disagreeing and against certain oppostion is very effective.
When it comes to automatic choice what has cost got to do with it....unless you're an accountant.
Run himself into the ground usually means running for everything mean lots of spent energy for nothing = headless chicken

That's harsh. Dolan can be limited but has 3 goals and 4 assists in 879 minutes of Championship football. Thats a goal involvement every 1.4 games. Plus you get the work rate to go with it.
Let's put this into comparison with the other attack minded players.
Dolan 3g / 4a / 879m / Contribution to a goal every 1.4 games
Szmodics 3g / 1a / 912m / Contribution 2.5
Gallagher 3g / 1a / 1263m / Contribution 3.5
Dack 1g / 1a / 642m / Contribution 3.6
HIrst 0g /0a / 272m / ZERO CONTRIBUTION
Vale 0g / 0a / 303m / ZERO CONTRIBUTION
I think Dolan is far from the problem with our team at the moment. Ideally I would have him in every starting line up
Brereton, out of interest, comes out at 9g / 3a / 2164 / Contribution 2.0
Not saying he is a problem but he is not an automatic first choice, stats show he is an impact player
